me and my cousin are getting rumors spread about us what should we do about other than telling a teacher?

=the people that really know you like your family and friends will be supportive to both of you. If the others are gossiping, ignore them and they will go bother someone else like a mosquito does. Don't worry, be happy.

Well, that's the best thing to do. Tell an Adult. Most ppl would want to confront those who are spreading the nasty rumour- but you be the better person and ignore them. If they are not true, then don't worry. And guess what? if they are true- you and your cousin go about your business and ignore those ppl all in your business. Remeber sometime Military Silence always work to not acknowlege stupid lies and rumours..

Rise above the rumors. If you are a nice person the rumors won't mean anything soon. People will just let them pass.

Unless it's really malicious, ignore it. You can confront to a degree as well. Don't retalliate in kind. You don't want to affect that kind of posture. Those who know you will only look at such people with contempt or disgust. Or both.
