Fear. Fear of anything. Of everything. We all suffer from it to some degree or other and it's from these fears that ideas for Gods, Goddesses, Devils, Angels, and other highly fantastical beings were borne. We fear that of which we have no knowledge or understanding (most of which a course in genetics wouldn't help) - from small things like "why does this taste good to me and that doesn't?" and "why does my skin discolor and hurt after I bump it against something hard?" to much bigger things, mostly concepts like the dark (that which you can't see), the sun, the cosmos, and why we're here. Fear is an instinct and this instinct is what helps us realize that doing this might not be safe or hanging out with that group of people could be hazzardous to our health. It's what's kept us alive, even though we don't understand it. We just keep going, living and surviving as best as we can, some through kindness and cooperation and others through whatever means neccessary, no matter how extreme or brutal those means may be. I just thank my lucky stars that I have friends and some family to support me on my journey through Hell and that I have the sense to know when to compromise, when to back off, and when to fight. Life sucks - all we have to do is survive it until we die.

Amen! The word of God is absolute Truth! The ONLY Truth!
Psalm 18:30
This God--his way is perfect; the word of the LORD proves true;he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him.

The Holy Bible, and what Jesus Christ said in the book of John 14:6 "I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Yes, so have I, plus the fact that the God of the Bible, the Lord Jesus Christ, transformed my life when He saved me from my sins...how much more truth do you need?

Oneness with God is the truth.
The bible separates us with all of its judgment and eye for an eye types of statements.

for me, absolute truth is what I believe.
I am not going to say what that is because I think absolute truth is different for different people. For some it is Christianity, for others it is Bhuddism, and others still other religions.
I would not dare to say that my absolute truth is truth for everyone, because it isnt. We are all taken down different paths, and we can not say that one thing is right for everyone, because it isnt, but that doesnt make it less true.

Absolute truth: that there is One True God and one true religion, Christianity (not Christendom), all is found in the Bible, this is not 'real life'...anything else is false---

lol. The bible is false. Every word of it. You can't have seen anything happen regarding it because everything in the bible is 2000 years old. So, unless you're immortal, that's not true.
I believe in the real. I believe in science. I believe in fact.
