I know, simple, shallow question, but I never had any religious education.

No, for a fact I can tell you that Mormons do not believe that Jews and Christians go to Hell. In fact, what they call "outer darkness" is only for really, really bad people like child molesters (for example). They believe that there are three levels of Heaven, all of which are pretty darn good, but only members of their faith that have been to their Temples and sealed to a male member of their Higher Priesthood get to live with God. Complicated, I know, but this doesn't even begin to expain it all.

100% of them will also tell you that they are Christian. They believe that Jesus was the son of God. They also believe he is the key to salvation. Those are the stipulations for being a Christian when you look at all the religions of the world. Don't get me wrong, Mormons have many tenants to their faith that differ from other Christian religions, but they believe in Jesus.

If you'd like to research more about the Mormons, go to www.mormon.org This site contains their beliefs and answers many questions that most people have about their faith.

No, we don't really know anyways and can't be the judge...also we don't really believe in a "hell", we believe everyone who ever lived will attain a level or degree of glory, Celestial (the highest where God the Father and Jesus Christ will eternally dwell), Terrestrial and Telestial. There is also "outer darkness" but that is where satan will be, his followers, and very very few others who lived on the earth.
We do believe there are certain criteria one must have/do in order to attain the highest degree. If a person stays a "christian" and doesn't do the "mormon" things...they will most likely obtain the Terrestrial glory.
Section 76 of the Doctrine and Covenants is a revelation of what the 3 kingdoms will be like. You can look that up on LDS.org if you want to know more, or contact me.

As a Mormon, I think personally that at some point in time, the true and restored Gospel of Jesus Christ will be so appealing, that only the very most rebellious people who have deliberately chosen to follow Satan most of their days will resist it. In my opinion, Jesus Christ will draw all those who are honest in heart to Him at the right place and time. So I don't believe any Christians who are honest in heart will go to hell, or anything less than the Celestial Kingdom. None of us are done learning yet. Have a happy day.

I just heard a talk comparing heaven and hell. Each is room with a large bowl of soup in the middle of a table. People have long spoons tied to their arms to reach the soup. In hell all are starving because the spoons are too long to reach their mouths. In heaven they are well feed and happy. Why when they had the same problem? They could feed one another.

The greedy will never find happiness. The giving always will.

I'm not Mormon, but I do know Mormons don't believe in Hell. They believe in Outer Darkness (eternal seperation from God)
There are 3 levels of heaven, and depending on if you had faith, you would be placed in one of those.
Only the best of Mormoms get top level, the rest of us have to work our way up.

Mormons are Christians. The official name of the church is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. They believe that only a very very small number will go to a place called outer darkness. Most will go to Heaven, but to varying degrees of Heaven.

Jews don't believe in hell in the sense Christians do. Jews believe everyone goes to heaven eventually.

Mormons consider themselves Christians, so in effect they'd be sending themselves to hell if they believed that. The Mormons I know just say that other Christian religions just don't have the 'whole' beliefs but only part of them.

No, according to my limited knowledge neither believe in hell.

To Mormons, I think hell is more or less the thought of eternity and inability to satisfy worldly addictions, habits, etc., which in turn leads to self torment.

Mormons ARE Christians. I don't know that Jews believe in hell... but then I don't know everything.
