Muge, instead you should have asked these people if would they eat there own babies ( and many would ) you are asking your question to mostly ignorant people who have no understanding of these issues...who live on a diet of McD and KFC and whose brains are riddled with dormant mad cow virus.
They have no better understanding than Korean puppy torturers. If it's not human it's food. Post your question where more intelligent people might read it.....Carnivores are cruel.

If the animals we eat were pets too do you really think they are going to let them be slaughtered and sold for our consumption. Certain animals were meant to be eaten and some were meant to be kept as pets.

If my dog and i were lost in the woods and starving the dog would either catch me a rabbit or become a meal (or more - I have a Great Dane).

Other animals taste better. Dogs are pretty cool. They do tricks, they make me laugh, they're cute, they also can serve as protectors (guard dogs), help (service dogs, seeing-eye dogs), and can easily be kept in an apartment. Cows just sit there and chew. Chickens peck and poo all over. And they're not cuddly. Cows won't guard your home, and you can't teach one to call 911 if you're in an emergency. because i dont eat animals that i get attached to. face it. being a vegetarian isn't natural. its unhealthy. and i think animal cruelty is awful to but its just the way we were made.
