Christmas is coming as you know and i have like no idea what to get my Bestfriend. Shes a girly girl, and she has no idea what she wants. What would you get?

I grew up in a large family and I was basically told when I was engaged that if I waited until I was married and had sex inside a marriage setting I would be blessed. My mom never had to work outside the home and my father was loaded where he made a lot of money.

I am blessed but have gone thorugh hardships and hurt that my parents never really had to experience, but I felt angry and at times hurt that I was not told the REAL truth about marriage about how hard it can be at times. I came to my mom when I found out how babies were made she never really sat down and talked to be about anything. I dont fault my parents they did a good job raising us all these kids.

My question is how do I help others in my family who are being fairytaled that if they do good they will be blessed with no problems? My neices and nephews when they graduate are in for an awakeing a rude one.

How can I now accept the things I cannot change and courage to change the things I can? Thank you.

He is only 6 but he has been different since birth. He hates sports, he hates rap music, he hates the adrenaline, "masculine" sort of video games. He is very soft spoken yet articulate, he loves the Cheetah Girls, loves shiny things, fashion, and is very organized and has some other feminine qualities. Should I be concerned?

I just found out that when my great grandfather and great grandmother were married and had children, that Jamacia was a British colony. Does this make me British in my family line then? It seems obvious, but I'm not sure. They are registered with British birth certificates, but I'm not sure. Tell me what you think.

I went to a pizza buffet last night with a friend of mine. I asked for a booth because I don't do well with regular wooden chairs because of my size. However, none were available. Hi everyone , I 'm studying English . I want to know when you want to say a greeting to a person who has had a busy day or hard work or he is very tired , What do say to him/her ?
In Persian we say : Don't be tired . But i know in English don't say it .
Some one said me we can say " be fresh " but i want to know some kind of other greeting .

After the test with Abraham God says "now I know" that you fear God".

1- "now" means that he didn't know before. God is not omniscient
2- "I" shows that he was not making Abraham test himself, but He himself was making the test, because He didn't know. God is not omniscient.

Which part of the "know I know" you don't understand?
