in judaism, the torah is G-d's love on earth. it expains how to live a good life in the eyes of G-d. more mystically inclined people also often have a belief that the torah was the blueprint G-d used to create the universe.

The Torah consists of the first 5 books of the Old Testament: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy. The five books of the Law.
God inspired them, according to both Jews and Christians.
In Judaism the Talmud also has importance, it is a kind of rabbinic commentary on the Torah.

not sure what exactly you mean,, God and the set of books or God and the law?
The books? God put His seal of approval on them. Moses spoke face to face with God and Moses inspiration was attested by the largest concentration of miricles... and possibly most spectacular and involving the most people... in the Old testaments
the Law? They reflect the charactrer of God... God is Holy so we should be holy, God is truthful so we should be truthful.. they encompass the love of God and the love of man made in God's image...
Genesis Creation Fall Flood Babel and covenants
Exodus after a story of hope with Jospeh and waiting, deliverance from slavery to serve God
Leviticus the law in detail
Deuteronomy the second law..a retelling
Numbers the last month of Moses life, he retells the story
however I am a Christian and adhere to 'Biblical Judaism' where Jesus is the Jewish Messiah not sure how someone in Rabbinic Judaism where the Rabbis make the rules

Torah is the word of G-d, and the history of the Jewish people and their beginnings. It is the first five chapters of the Holy Scriptures, and is read completely each year at services.

Torah, God`s covenant given thru Moses, a pact between God and His chosen people, His words/wills/plans/instructions/a pact/ covenant of understanding between God and man (which He desires everyone to keep, respect, obey and love) in honor of Him, the God who creates the world including human kind.
Through it, an orderly physical world will be established, full of Love, Peace, Joy, Harmony with everyone...just like His original place...His Kingdom in Heaven...He dearly wants to make a physical heaven in this world (though momentarily in failure due to satan interventions, but VICTORY can be claimed later after judgement day.
So, everyone...how about loving, honoring, obeying and daily living of the Torah/covenant God gave to us for our SALVATION?
Good Luck...Be blessed!!!
