Since when is Poker a sport? I don't want to watch a bunch of people, whether they are celebrities or not, play poker. If this is what I wanted, I would go to my fat uncles house on Wednesday evening. Who watches this crap? No, stand up and be proud, I want to know who seriously watches this stuff? Some one must, or it would not be on TV.

My friend is a Bahai,and he told me that they do not view heaven and hell as part of their religion. Rather, they say that if you die a sinner, you are far from God, and if you diea good man, you are near to God. He also said that Heaven and hell may not exist, cause they are human perceptions only. Like; a baby in the womb has no knowledge of the world outside, so we in this world have no knowledge of the next. A few of my Christian friends have been intrigued by this, as well as the Bahai claim that the original gospels may have been tempered with, but the writings of Baha'ullah have not, since he had access to modern day technology as opposed to writing by hand in those days. I'm not about to convert, but those statements really sting a little.

i have a friend and we have been friends for almost 5 years we always have so much fun together and we are open about everything she has been there for me and i have been there for her. well me and alot of my friends(who are girls)made out with each other. but see we would only do it because guys thought it was hot.but me and her we made out when it was just us and i have always thought about doing more than just makin out with a girl, but im not bi or lesbian and i dont wanna be.i like having sex with guys too much! t she feels the same way because she just came out and was like " want to do more than just m/o with a girl and the only girl i would ever do that with is you" and i feel the same way. i havent done anything with her yet but i just wanna kno what i should do?!?! and if that makes me bi or a lesbian or what??? please help!!!

Should hey tell us what are the proper "moral values" for our kids? or what religion is better for them? Should they ask us to observe other religious holidays that are not our own?

My Husband and I moved to a new home this year two hundred miles away from our family so we could go to college. We are friends with two other families who are in a similar situation. So we decided to put on Thanksgiving at my house. Did I mention that if it doesn't come out of a box I don't know where to begin? I took home Ec but that was ten years ago. How do I get the Turkey, Augratin Potatoes, Sweet Potatoes, Rolls, Green Beans, ETC all cooked and piping hot on the table at once? I only have one oven. Some things I can cook on the stove top, but others require baking and at different temps. I will make stuffing but not in the bird, too many stories of people getting sick.

Any Seasoned Vetrans out there got a few suggestions for me?

the people run to church and the mother of lost child tells them: "you do not run toward sanctuary, but from your fears!". How is that actually true with today's religion, especially with christianity- catholicism? Sometimes I I think that sometimes this religion is like the biggest worshipper of evil. They teach us intolerance, especially against women (they have no voice in church, for ex they cannot manage confession in catholic church), homosexuals (and they excuse by making fear of destroying families), and everything else which is liberal (like family planning- birth control). They teach love cannot be consumed (sex) without expecting results- children! But it is ok for them to deny any alternative lifestyle which is not necessarly bad, it is ok for them to even influence politics against antidiscrimination laws,etc. Sometimes when I had to go to church people seemed to be mean, especially in Polish church. What do u think?

It seems today that people don't take responsibilty for their actions and find ways around the consequences. Individuals as well as large groups make excuses, or deny their actions/inactions in order to "get away with it". I believe consequences build character and can teach us wisdom, and what we learn from them is very important in our later lives, and what we teach our children.
What do you think about this?
