This particular teaching can not be justified nor supported with Scripture. God is just and fair. According to the Bible all of us will be judged according to our knowledge. How much knowledge could an infant have? The age of accountability before God seems to be 12, according to my reading of Scripture. It was at age 12 that Isaac was circumcised. This is why the age of 12 is so important in the Jewish faith today. After 12, an individual is considered old enough to be able to understand things and to reason. Up until that point it was the responsibility of the parents to raise the child according to the Laws of God and to physically correct the child should he/she stray from those laws.

None of that is true.
Little babies are Innocent, they have not sinned
They are instantly with the Lord
Baptism is not salvation, mercy or love, or compassion
That is a tradition of men, taught by the church and a good, one
It feels good to us , but the baby doesn't know anything about it, yet when we tell them at a later age, they feel good that you loved them that much
Yet, the child has to do it all over again, when at the age of accountability
The first is not baptism, it is dedication, a dedication to God like a covenant between the parents that they will give this child to God, and raise it in the admonition of God, or in God's ways
Bless you....

That use to be the teaching of the RC church. It was said that a baby would go to a place called Limbo. This is just outside of heaven. They would have all of the benefits of heaven, but never see the face of God. The church changed that idea in the past few years.

I believe that an Innocent baby goes to heaven. There are arguments about this. However that baby has not come to knowledge as of yet. So that is what I believe. Jesus also said. Suffer the little children to come unto me......He had a lot to say about children in the gospels. I'm not of the denominations you listed. So I have not heard their reasons to believe differently if they teach that.

according to catholics i think they go to limbo, im not sure catholics please correct me if i am wrong.
the bible says "for the wages of sin is death," which means spiritual death and physical death. a baby cannot have any notion of right or wrong, or any idealistic reasoning, therefore it is my belief that if a baby cannot sin, then they will go to heaven. i've been raised baptist and from what i understand, this is what most protestant world believes. therefore i believe there is no need in infant baptism, and it is ignorant of christians to think that a baby can be truly saved against their will.

God is not bound by the normative rules that He establishes for humanity.
Can the Holy Spirit work outside the Bible? Certainly.
The bible does teach NOT to judge others, so I leave this issue in God's care.

Actually, none of those denominations have such a doctrine. Even the Catholic belief of Limbo (which was never official) has been renounced.
