to those who say vice versa it does not work. i have not discounted the possibility that god does not exist, therefore it is a universal positive.

resorting to name calling proves you cannot disprove this.

Atheists have nothing to prove but just saying "there is no god" like a broken record with no basis or supporting facts.

Aside from the fact that you can't prove a negative, can any believer prove god could be found on a planet, under a rock, in a particle of dust?

I am not an atheist. I think the Universe is guided by an Intelligence although now and then I doubt the size of his IQ.
It is not that an Atheist has to prove anything. If I say to you that there is a goat on the Moon the onus of proof is on ME. If you say there is a God the onus of proof is on YOU.

Because I've never seen proof of one. If you've never seen a polka-dotted elephant but someone assures on that one exists - they don't have any evidence, but you should give them a lot of money to help conserve it - would you? I should hope not. Just because you haven't checked under every rock in Africa doesn't mean that you should consider the possibility to be likely. Until I see evidence to the contrary, there's no god.

Hahahahaha!! If I have searched every nook and cranny of this question for any logic and have not found any, then how can you say it's a logical question?
I'm allowed the presumption that you think it's logical because you asked, right? I mean after all, you're living your entire life by one huge assumption.

No more than a Christian can argue absolute proof of a god. If you haven't got ablolute tangible and quantifiable proof that there is a god, you've still got nothing more than a wish and a prayer.

I normaly don't just post a link but I have grown tired of answering this question every day when some genious discovers the statement for the first time in his or her life. I do recomend that you look for an "Invisible Pink Unicorn," nothing illuminates arguments like this one quite as well.

That's a great! Yeah, how do you know there's no God if you haven't searched everything?
And beside Christians have the Holy Bible to prove there is God and Jesus Christ.

That is why you can't prove a negative, the onus on you to prove that there is a god. That should be easy for you, you all say you have a personal relationship with jesus so he should be easy for you to produce.

How can you say it's your god?
Better yet, maybe the god you find if you do search every where likes atheists better. Maybe this god is vegetarian and damns meat eaters to hell. She loves gay men and lesbians; Queer Eye is her favorite show. She hates Bush and she's going to damn everyone who voted for him to hell. How do you know THAT'S not true?!
