I once saw a really good teaching video for children called "Muzzy in Gondoland". It is a Cartoon, comedy, language course developed by the BBC to teach English. It is now available in Italian, Spanish, French, German, Gaelic, Esperanto, and Mandarin.

I have no connection with the BBC or any entity who sells this product. I just really like it and think it is a great approach. I just recomended it to my daughter to teach Spanish to my grandson.

when I was learning English I used teaching tools which were designed for children. there are alot of picture associations and repetitions you wont find in adult series. I learned phonics and the alphabet and as I progressed I learned the adult versions. Good luck!
