How can I get magic to work for me?
When I do spells etc , I can't concentrate . I used to be able to . If I'm really mad they work ..i read it's because your putting all your will & strength into it ... How can I concentrate and get my whole energy into it ?

It's like that part of me got cut off and I can't figure out to get my belief into it working .

They seem to be having a lot more storms lately. Could just be global warming but that is just a scientific explanation.

I'm planning to develop a new religion, called Gugaism, which will actually be the religion against all religions. Gugaism doesnt have a God, just like Buddhism, but we believe in Human God - ourselves.
The Bible of the Wisest ( you can read the first chapter here
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Amk1jzy5ot9l74DJB5aTqDfsy6IX?qid=20061116093918AAp37As.), will be our book of views on religion and its creation. Anyone is willing to join.

Some Mormon missionaries informed me that I cannot be told why they wear the white bike-shorts all the time. They said that it is a holy thing and it cannot be shared with non-Mormons. Should all religions keep their holy business to themselves?

I too wouldn't believe a man who says me that God commanded to pray in a different direction than the traditional one.

Why is it that people are obesessed with skinny people. As seen in media, shopping stores, and anywhere you look. Is there any room for oversized people in this world and if so then where in America is it okay for big people to live to be able to have a self esteem?

I want to start a novena for my fibromyalgia pain. SInce there is no saint of fibromyalgia, I'm guessing the saint of arthritis will do. Who is it and where can I find a good novena? Thanks all.

(and before someone tells me to pray to God, novenas help me take my mind off the pain. If it really bugs you, please add some prayers that I can add to my daily regiment as well. I don't mind)

I was just wondering how many of you stand on the pro-choice/pro-abortion fence and the pro/life, anti/abortion fence because of your religion.? You can explain it if you want, but I was just curious what religious or spiritual view you have, and if it has any influence on you stand on abortion.

I would prefer answers from people who have read the Bible for themselves, and if anyone wants to paste chapter and verse to support any interpretation I'd welcome it.

As a Pagan, it has always struck me that Satan is nothing more than a Christian construct to keep the flock in line. A manifestation, if you will, of our conscience...the angel on one shoulder and devil on the other. I also remember a quote from Anton Lavay saying that Satanism was the best thing to ever happen to the Catholic church. Thoughts?

That sounds really selfish, but I've seen and heard of all these people who changed their lives after 'finding God'

I wish I wasn't so lazy, but I look around me and nothing in this world motivates me to work for it, I get depressed at times because it feels futile but something tells me I'm not doing wrong.

I saw a weird, Canadian film (on indieplex), called "Last Night" which followed the final hours of some people in Toronto. The world was going to end at midnight (I missed the beginning, but I think it was from a comet, since it kept getting brighter). One family had Christmas and gave presents, one young guy had as much sex with as many people as possible, another man just wanted to go home and listen to music alone.

A woman was trying to get home so she & her husband could shoot each other before the end. One student gave his first piano concert. Others were rioting and looting, some were partying, like New Year's Eve and one crazy (?) lady ran throught the streets, counting down the hours, then minutes, then seconds.

Anyway, faced with the same situation: inevitable destruction of humanity, what would YOU do in three months, and at the very end?

I have not been in Hastings bookstore in over a year because when my youngest daughter was a newborn I had an "incident" there and I'm too embarrassed to go back. My husband wants a certain game for his game system for Christmas, but it's only found IN HASTINGS BOOKSTORE. I want to go back, but I'm embarrassed to. LOL It's ok to poke fun because I see the humor in it, but please, give a decent answer with your fun..
