Good question.

The birth control pill does not prevent conception. It prevents a fertalized egg from attaching itself to the uterine wall. So a fertalized egg is indeed passed during the next menstrual period.

I don't know how other forms of birth control work, except for condoms of course. I can't see how anyone could be opposed to condoms.

It's better to bring a baby into this world when you want to then to bring one into this world and not want it. I don't think contraception is evil. Women should have the right to choose when a baby comes into their lives. Yes, every baby is a gift from God, but why shouldn't the women get a say in that process too? It's her body.

As far as natural family planning, that could be construed as birth control. You are interfering with the process of conception, isn't that what birth control does anyway??

Take it from someone who works in this field, it's better to have a baby when you want then have one that you don't and have to worry about how you are going to survive with this child and make ends meet.

I don't believe in sex before marriage, but I also think that even in marriage, it's better to be safe then sorry.

Many other christian denominations used to consider contraception as sinful, but have changed there teachings throughout time. The Bible tells us to "be fruitful and multiply." If you are using contriception or you sterilize your body you aren't being fruitful.

I think it's only catholics that do not allow ANY form of birth control except the rhythm method. Other christian sects don't have that problem.

And they don't consider it evil per se; just a sin.

No, it's not evil. If you can't afford emotionally, physically and financially then birth-control is necessary.

However, if you can afford emotionally, physically and financially then have as many children as you want and can afford.

There is no scripture that says..."Thou shall not us birth-control."

Better contraception than an abortion.

Overpopulation is evil. Any reason and any method that prevents unwanted and un-needed births is valid.

Not true, that's a Catholic doctrine, not ALL Christians believe that.
