I have not been in Hastings bookstore in over a year because when my youngest daughter was a newborn I had an "incident" there and I'm too embarrassed to go back. My husband wants a certain game for his game system for Christmas, but it's only found IN HASTINGS BOOKSTORE. I want to go back, but I'm embarrassed to. LOL It's ok to poke fun because I see the humor in it, but please, give a decent answer with your fun..

I'd go back, unless they have a restraining order against you or some kind of legal action was involved. If it was just some sort of embarrassing "oopsie" type of incident, I'd say that more than likely no one will remember you, and in fact many or most of the employees may be new and not even know about you.

Ah, the joy of having children!!! LOL I know. But really, as a former retail worker, you see a lot and really don't remember these things....they probably forgot all about the incident by the end of the day. Go back. It has been a long time.

Im certain that most people wouldn't still be there? Retail is like a revolving door in most cases...

and even if they are still there and should happen to remember you... I think we usually get embarassed enough for everyone involved. Most people understand and to hell with anyone who doesn't.

Just don't bump into the person who had to clean it! That... might be a bit awkward. I know if I had to clean it, I probably wouldn't still be there anyway so... You never know?

Do your hair different and leave the kids home so you can run right in and right out again...

They probably wouldn't even remember you after a year. But if you think they will did this happen during the day or at night. If during the day then go there at night, maybe different employees working different shifts and vise verse. Just go in get what you need and get out. Hope this helps

After a year, it's unlikely that anyone will remember you. In stores like that the employees turn over all the time, and you're only one in thousands of customers that they've seen in the meantime. I'd say don't worry about it.

It is okay to go back, I pretty sure that the people who work there will not remember you, but if that does not satisfy you go with a friend and have them go into the store to purchase the game

C'mon, it was over a year ago, whatever it was. Most likely, nobody there would remember or recognize you. Even if they did, who cares what they think? "Accidents" happen- not your fault. Forget about it and go to the store. Cheers!

Don't be embarassed about it. If anyone says anything, just laugh it off. You can not live your life in fear of a bookstore.

If its been a year, I'll bet most of the workers weren't there when it happened.

Is there anyway you can order the game online???

just go back, if it's been over a year most of the people that worked there then, probably don't work there anymore
