I too wouldn't believe a man who says me that God commanded to pray in a different direction than the traditional one.

even before the prophethood of the holy prophet (pbuh) he was known by the Truthful and the Trust worthy. people knew him very well and his follwers had absolute trust in him.
Subsequently, in the second year of Hijrah, Allah revealed the verse of the Qur'an to Muhammad (pbuh) to change direction when praying from Jerusalem, and now face towards Makkah.

Muhammad (pbuh) was facing Jerusalem; after he (pbuh) had already completed two rak'ats of the noon prayer , the Angel Jibrael (pbuh) communicated to him the command of Allah. He was directed by Angel Jibrael to turn completely around.
So he turned his body around towards the Ka'bah during prayer, and so did his followers. Hence, this mosque came to be called Masjid Qiblatain, the masjid with the two qiblas.

It is clear from the Qur'an itself that the change of qibla provoked controversy particularly among the Jews and the hypocrites who were their allies.

"The fools among the people will say, 'What has made them turn away from the direction they used to face?' Say, 'To Allah belong both the east and the west. He guides whomever he will to a straight path.' Hence we have made you a midmost nation, so that you will be witnesses against mankind and the Messenger will be a witness against you. We did not appoint the direction you used to face except to know him who follows the Messenger from him who turns back on his heels. Though in truth it is a very hard thing except for those whom Allah guides. Allah would not let your belief go to waste. Allah is All-Gentle, Most Merciful to mankind."
[surah al-Baqarah; 141-2]

There is a wisdom in every act that prophet Muhammad (pbuh) did and what Allah commanded him to do. Imagine what would be the condition of Muslims today if prophet didn't change the qiblah direction to Makkah? More and more lands of Jerusalem is being taken by the zionists every day, Muslims are being prevented from entering the Masjid al-Aqsa (the former Qiblah).

On the other hand, Makkah is in a land of Peace and prosperity. And Muslims can make hajj peacefully every year. And that is one of the wisdoms of changing Qiblah.

And God knows best.

Because the jews knew that if he is a true prophet he will change the quibla because it's written in the Torat, also the jews knew that the prophet will appear in the arabia pennisula, and they knew the signs of his coming (read History) they told people (the pagan Arab) that they are waiting for him and that he will destroy their Idols and the laws of God will govern. but the jews didn't know that the prophet will be an arab ( from the lineage of Ishmaeel (your breithren) >>the son of Abraham.
but can we find this in the bible? . because they changed the words out of jealiousy because he was not a jew.
I have the original Quran, where is the original Bible?

A short story:
a young christian of 13 , asked his mother >>> what were people worshiping at the time of Adam, Noah, Abraham,......until Moses?
she answered >>> God !!!.
he asked >>> why we worship jesus then?
she answered >>>because it is written in the bible.
he asked >>> what will be the faith of the people before the coming of jesus ?
she answered >>> I don't know.

So, After thinking about this even more, knowing that there is
a religion ( Islam) that worships only one God , like the people
before. Again ,he too believed this. And became a muslim at
age 17 himself. Why? Because he could not accept or find reasons to believe in the trinity concept. None of the people before nor after any of the prophets believed in this. This belief
is only in the bible( new testament) not in the old testament or
the Quran. Can we trust or believe blindly in the bible and ignore
what most people on the earth have all believed.

That's a good Q, you are right no body will change his believe because some one came and told him to do so.
But Because prophet Mohammad PB UH came to them and they know his background for 40 years and they know that he is non reader, honest, and can't say poem; At that time the Arab were at their best with the Arabic language science, and poetry, and when they red the Wholly Quran the couldn't believe it is the word of human being but ALLAH, and hence some they believed him and the majority of pagans did so, but didn't accept the idea of Oneness and not to associate with ALLAH some body else, like the Christians at the time being, they associate with ALLAH , prophet Jesus PB UH and they believe in Trinity.
--------------------------------
So, now back again how did they changed the Qiblah, you can your self and others if you are convinced that what is mentioned in Quran is the word of ALLAH and it is the word of ALLAH, so, try and believe me if you take it serious you will change your Qiblah once a day.

If you are true christians than solve this contradictions of bible
1) How many generations were there between Abraham to David? Matthew 1:17 lists fourteen generations. Matthew 1:2 lists thirteen generations.

2) Is Paul lying? In Acts 20:35 Paul told people "to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'" Since Jesus never made such a biblical statement, isn’t Paul guilty of deception?

3) When did the leper become not a leper? (Matthew 8:13 & 8:14) Jesus healed the leper before visiting the house. (Mark 1:29-30 & 1:40-42) Jesus healed the leper after visiting Simon Peter’s house.

4) Who approached Jesus? (Matthew 8:5-7) The Centurion approached Jesus, beseeching help for a sick servant. (Luke 7:3 & 7:6-7) The Centurion did not approach Jesus. He sent friends and elders of the Jews.
