Sounds like you're rude. It's one thing to be honest, but another entirely if you're saying things to be hurtful. It's called tact. People who have tact use discretion in situations and knows when it's appropriate to be brutally honest or not. Because there are times when that is necessary. However, there are also times when brutal honesty is unjustified.

Don't hide behind the "But I'm being only honest" wall. If you know you are going to hurt someone then you are a Beeeeutch of the 1st degree. Glad I don't know you. Honesty is good up to but not including hurting people. If you can't say anything good don't say anything at all. Advice from my Granny. Sound advice it is too.

I know exactly how you feel... people have told me that I'M RUDE... because I was waiting in line to buy movie tickets and a person cut infront of me... so I said to them "excuse you, you just cut me!" then they had to go to the end of the line. I just prefer not to let people walk all over me... I'm not going to hide how I feel about something just to please other people!
