the respond is genuinely on your question. Israel is a tiny u . s . with approximately 6 million human beings surrounded by potential of one hundred million Muslims who're no longer happy approximately this occasion. The Jews claimed the land of Israel as a biblical command and an astounding sort of Christians help Israel subsequently. yet, the non secular reason is just one among countless motives the U. S. has and is helping Israel . Israel is the only good democratic foothold interior the risky midsection East the place regimes are ruled by potential of monarchs or dictators who rule thousands and thousands of hungry unhappy human beings. yet one extra reason is the oil. Israel would be a base for the yank military if and whilst a conflict on the oilfields will erupt. those are basically a number of the justifications the U. S. helps Israel.

I really don't think it has anything to do with religion. First it has to do with helping the (then) under dog (after WW2). Then,so many American Jews who had the money to influence politics. Third, Israel was a good way to keep a "pied a terre" in North Africa to obtain some influence in the region. Why wanting that influence? Oil, oil, oil.

When you consider that the world's largets collection of oil fields is controlled by Islamic regimes that fund and support Islamic terrorists, you have a scary situation for world peace and democracy. For example, what if Fundamental Islamics gained control of all the oil, soon they would be the wealthiest countries capable of developing the worlds most powerful armies. And what do you get when you mix Islamic fundamentalism with money and guns? You get today's current events. Remove ISrael from the equation and you get today's current events multiplied 1000 times.
Israel is the only stabilizing force in the Middle east in terms of preventing Islamic regimes from eventually controlling the world via black gold.

Long before Israel was created, many influential Jews in the US got involved in politics and pleaded their cause. After the Zionist Jews created Israel and defied the British, the US recognized the strength of the new nation and was quick to support them. It's all politics.

The United States acts in what it perceives as its own best interest, as it should. Supporting a democratic ally in a region of the world that knows no other democracy is considered a vital interest to the US.

I think we feel a kinship towards them because our faith (for us Christians) was born from their faith. Also if you believe the Bible, then you know they are still God's people, and so it would be pretty stupid not to support them. They were also the #1 enemy of our great enemy, Hitler, in WWII. Not to mention that the way they took back their homeland was downright amazing (way to go, God!).

It's political lobbying and influence into congress. Jewish people are probably one of the most economically well off groups in the US, they can afford to get their voices heard. That's the answer.

Are you holding out on us? Do you know?
I think...it's part of a long term plan to try and bring about the Kingdom of God on earth.
I know it won't work that way, but it's tempting to try.
It could also be guilt for not doing more during the Holocaust...
Or...it could all just be part of the plan of God, and no one knows why it's happening.

The US has a common enemy with Israel: Islamic terrorists. Also, Jews have a huge financial investment in the US economy (entertainment).
