Anybody else embarrassed to be white when you go to a street fair and the hippie chicks start dancing?

Ok, so do mormons think there is only one God, or many? And Is Jesus that God, or is he not? And why does the BOM say things totally opposited the DC? Is it possible that the Church of LDS is a corrupted church?

From a reading of the following, it appears as though Jesus is the One God, part of a trinity with father and Holy spirit:
1 Neph 13:41, 2 Neph 31:21, Mos 15:4-5, 16:15, Alma 11:28-39, 14:5, Mor 7:7

i have a question about rights. there is yet another school in the news with a problem of some students not wanting to say the pledge of alligence, so now they are going to stop doing so. well my concern is what about the rights of the students that want to say the pledge, or want to see the ten commandments hanging on the wall, or want to say prayer before a graduation service. who is protecting their rights? and why is that this is trickling down to even the smaller things such as my son's preschool class where they can still have parties for let's say halloween, however all the party snacks must be fat free, or good for you. now what about my rights as a parent to want my child to attend a public school and have a good old fashioned cup cake at a party? do certain people's beliefs count more than others? and why should other people's beliefs be forced on some? why can't we have these things but those who don't wish to participate does not have to? just wondering?

Let's face it, Live goes by really fast. When I was in my 20's I thought someone in their 40's was old. That literally seems like yesterday. Now that I'm approaching 40, people in their 50's are young. It's unbelieveable how fast life goes by. So after this short life we have, where do we want to spend eternity, and are you comfortable with that?

Ok so in the beggining there was God, and there was darkness. Right? Then he started creating stuff. Now was the darkness the opposite of God, his foe? God's way is the way of light, So if in the beggining it was him and darkness why did he not eliminate it entierly? Is it because in his nature he can not truely destroy, because of his path of light?


Anything on this subject matter would be appreciated, I do not mean to offend anyone, and if you are religious and your beggining stories are not like this what are they?

Is it really so difficult to believe both hold some truth at the same time??? I mean seriously, you can't take the bible word for word! its a guide. The bible should show you (both directly and indirectly) the attidtudes, morals, views, and actions that are more or less the way God desires it. Whilst it may say that the world was made in 7 days, you must understand that the bible (whilst authored by God) was writen by mankind, and hence 7 days could be an easier way of saying 7 millenia. Many things in the bible are writen in certain ways to make it more understandable, without it loosing its potency.
We are afterall, only human.
