Just a stupid question, but what does..."I'll let it be" mean? Does that mean someone will drop the subject? My friend said that to me and I'm confused on what she meant. Please help.

Your friend means that she will leave things alone and drop the subject.

LET IT BE can be known as a few things like don't go there or i will leave it there or i will not int erupt it nut i think she means don't go there that's what a lot of people mean when they say that these days
