Jesus was not only "divine" but was ans is Deity Incarnate.

Many have claimed that they are Christ, or that they are "god".

Jesus died (delivered for our offences) and was raised the third day (for our justification) and He, though dead, now is Alive forevermore.

After His Resurrection, "he showed himself alive by many infallible proofs".

While He as on earth, as the Bible records, "and many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, the which are not written in this book, but these are written that you might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the son of God ... and that by believing you may have Life in His name."

Jesus: Well, I would absolutely say Simon is a little more divine than I am.

Simon: Yeah!? Well-- wait, what?

Jesus: I've never been one who wants a lot of publicity. If you want to be the divine one, I would say that's absolutely your right.

Simon: Well, uh, thank you. But you're pretty divine yourself, you know.

Jesus: Oh, well thank you! It's always nice to receive a compliment. Why, I was hanging out with Kukulcan yesterday, over at the salad bar in Valhalla, and Odin came over and just had the nicest thing to say! He said, "You know, I think what you did on Earth was just amazing, that whole spreading-the-message-of-love thing. And I just wanted to let you know how great that is," he said. But it's such a shame, you know, how people are doing such ugly things in my name.

Simon: Oh, crying shame. A crying shame.

FiveShiftOne: ... What? You addressed this question to Jesus and Simon!

Continued from above................

Jesus: But you know why I think you're more divine than me?

Simon: No. Why?

Jesus: Because all the things that I caused with my message of love you know. Generations of women suffered. Millions of people were massacared. Even today my followers are still trying to make humanity walk backwards. So much for "love"..... You didn't do that. I deserve to be called "Jeebus".

Simon: Oh dear dear.... now, now don't take it too hard on yourself.

Jesus states that He is the "I am" which God said when Moses asked Him who He was. Therefore, Jesus is the Son of God and spoke well of Himself during the writings of the new testament.
