Is god Jesus ?? How would you explain that .... someone else ask me and I don't know what to say ???? How would you explain it to someone with no religious background.... ?

Is it true I am the only Edna left? My race is going extinct!!
This is our story..:Long ago, at the dawn of time before the time of man, Ednas walked the earth... Then slowly a younger race began to take over the earth driving the poor Ednas into hiding. The Ednas hid underground, deep underground where humanity could not follow. There they waited, biding there time to one day rise again. The time of the Ednas have come. We are here to return to the land, through Yahoo Answers!. How can that be vicious and uncaring, worthy enough to kill us for?

OK, my boyfriend and I are having a debate here, we got into conversation about when Ellen told on TV that Anne Heche was her g/f. My b/f says Anne was on the rise, with the movie Volcano and all, and that Ellen outed Anne and ruined Anne's career. I said that while I don't agree that Ellen should have said anything without Anne's permission....ppl finding out about Anne & Ellen's relationship was part of the price that famous people pay....if you are going to be a big star you have to accept that your personal life is of interest to the public and though I can't say it is right, (because I think that ALL people deserve thier privacy) the reality of the matter is...Famous people are on display...and there is a price to pay to be famous. My b/f thinks I am saying Anne deserved to have her career ruined, I am NOT saying that...I am simply saying, she paid the price. My b/f disagrees with me totally, he says famous people should have as much privacy as we do....who do you agree with?

Some Christians think that we might see some or all of the tribulation period. I can understand why we might be here for the first 3.5 years when there is peace on earth. But when all hell breaks loose and satan has control of all nations and evil lurks all over earth inflicting much pain and sorrow, I think God in His grace would keep us from that. What do you think?

it seem like the new mass lacks the reverence it once had..i remember going to weekday mass with my grandmother when it was still dark, voltive candles, the church was eerily quiet as we came a half hour early to pray the rosary..now a days, you get there early and people are talking, laughing...i went to confession on saturday afternoon and there were only five people there, yet Sunday, 80% recieved communion..i know i should mind my own business about other people, but i just cant..i think a mockery is being made..people standing in line wearing shorts, sandals, waiting to recieve the body of Christ on their hand from an old woman......nobody in line has their hands together praying, many are talking to each other..during the mass, so many people participate, it is so distracting..i think deep in my heart i want that church that once was....the one that wasn't afraid to tell you that hell waited for sinners..seems the attitude anymore is that God is all forgiving, i don't think so...

I am a christian, and im praying so hard and everyday at every chance i get, but he wont listen to a word i say. He mad at me for 'judging' him. i just told him that he was going against God's Law. Yet another in the dozens of illogical abberations in the Christian mythdom that I don't understand.

You have "god." All good, all powerfull, all knowing, all controlling, in a word, OMNIPOTENT, yet god can not control this rebellious element called "evil" which is constantly seeking to "overthrow" his dominion by tempting his weak-minded creations.

Forgive me, but why doesn't an all-powerful being simply ELIMINATE evil with a brush of his hand?

Don't you think it's time we stop answering foolish questions by atheists?
They apparently already know the Way to Salvation and have rejected it numerous times. We have already done what we can for them. Don't you feel it is time to "shake the dust off our feet" and turn our attention to those who are looking for honest answers and guidance in their lives?
Why continue answering questions from those who have little to no respect for anyone but those who believe as they do?
I have seen many atheists say that they want us to leave them alone. Since we have already done as God has asked by sharing our beliefs with them,and they have,over and over again, belittled us and our beliefs and rejected our message, I think it is time to give them what they ask,and let them to themselves,and turn our attention to our fellow Christians who need help and anyone else who is sincere in their search for answers.
Of course we should continue to pray for them.
