If you think the streets are going to paved with gold because the Dems are taking over you are naive. All of the politicians in Washington don't care about what we think or want for our country. They will listen to the person with the most cash. The American people have let it be known that we want something done about illegal immigration, and the bow down to big businesses who are getting rich of of cheap labor. The majority of people support decriminalization of marijuana but the give in to the religious groups and their money. The average American citizen is relying on a bankrupt social security system to take care of them in their retirement but the federal government chose to focus on steroids in baseball, or Janet Jackson's Nipple

right on! I voted straight democrat and am proud of it! I was interviewed by the local newspaper on election day and told them that I voted democrat and we ARE a military family. The journalist was shocked by this and asked why I am not republican and I said 'because I want the boys to come home and for the scandal in Iraq to be ended'

I sure hope they publish that statement! Give me my ten I am a very proud democrat!!!!!

Yeah but he can still send the military to kick butt anywhere he wants, he's a lame duck and has nothing to lose. His failure to resolve the illegal alien problem was the big issue with most people, taxpayers are sick and tired of supporting other country's economies and poor.

What an extraordinary commentat... oh... wait... this has happened during a half-dozen two-term President's midterm elections in the last hundred years.
So, I guess you're gloating because Americans use elections to bring about change.
Woo hoo! What a stunning and yet utterly predictable trend!

Devastating, I weep for the unborn who continue to die in an untimely manner. Ripped limb from limb in the cruelest ways. I would have the stain of their innocent blood washed from our nation.
