I know since being on this forum it has helped me grasp what it is I do believe in, even if I cant catergorize it. I have found that not being able to define it has had more purpose than finding the meaning. I just wondered if being on this forum has stirred any questions in your faith?

I do not speak Spanish, (I am trying to learn), but I work with a lot of Spanish speaking people. It seems that the ones that are trying to learn English always understand what I am telling them, but can't tell me what I just said. Why is that?

Can you be nice for a day? What do you think? Can you take one day, and let a person cut in front of you in traffic, or wait for the slow people to cross the street before turning, or can you you take the trash out for your husband? Why don't we have a nice day holiday, I mean since it's so rare for people to be nice these days.

This incident happened at my college last week:

After stepping outside a costume party about 2 a.m. Sunday with a friend, a UCM student was approached by three unidentified men. After making several derogatory comments to the student, they proceeded to push him into a bush and began hitting and kicking him repeatedly in the face and back.
The victim told the Muleskinner only one of the three men spoke.

"He was like, 'Hey, are you guys having a gay pow-pow?'" the student said. "And my friend said, 'Well, you're not my boyfriend, so what does it matter?' That's when he took him by the neck and threw him down on the ground...kind of lying half on the concrete and half on the grass."

After this, one of the assailants asked the student if he was a "******."

"I told him, 'Hey, I don't have a problem with you at all; I don't want to start anything with you,' but that's when he said he '(expletive) hates *******' and started shoving and pushing me in the left eye," the student said.
