How to live in the world but not of it...

You can start by getting rid of everything you don't need to survive. And then cease engaging in the things that many others engage in (which is a long list, but a small sampling includes gossip, petty-mindedness, envy, succumbing to fits of temper, being stingy, backbiting). And you can also pull out of any practice or thought pattern that is unholy. For this, you will need to seek God's help and submit to his discipline.

These are starting points for how to divorce yourself from the flesh while still in it. But it isn't a theory. You actually have to do these things, instead of just wishing they were so, or musing on what life would be like if they were so. ... In any event, if you take these initial steps, you will have effectively begun the journey, and God can guide you from there.

Dw if I knew the answer to that question I dont think I would be here on this physical plane to answer it. Is it not the struggle of every man to find enlightment in a world of adversity? This is what is meant only we all get lost from time to time.
