Like Jmorritz says Jesus refered to God as his Father and fathers are male. So we never gave a gender to God. God is God and to be honest I'm pretty sure gender is least one of the things he worry about. He has millions of his children he's trying to get home safely. I hope I answered your question.

Because the phallus represents power and has for many thousands of years. A woman only has a vagina and a clitoris. Although the clitoris has many more nerve endings than a penis, it does not compare in size and is internal rather than external. This is a significant difference because the penis is large and stands out on display as the primary power masculinity and strength that makes a male a male. A female takes care of the young and is weaker than a male that presides over her with his higher position above her.

Obviously God is supposed to be powerful and strong and in command, hence his gender is considered to be male.

Because in English language there is no second person neutral pronoun. All there is is he and she. Consequently, we use he.

Christians think God came down as a human being so they insist on calling him he. But he is neither HE nor SHE as God does not need to reproduce.

In other languages where there is a neutral pronound like Turkish for example, they use that to present God.

Because the original Greek and Hebrew texts always refer to God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit as "He".

The man was not deceived. 1Timothy 2:14
Woman, being deceived, was in the transgression.
So woman is taken out of man, till no longer dec'd.
Judment of the woman, by the man: John 8:3-11.
Point: where no law, there no transgression.

Getting a head:
The head of the woman is the man: not dec'd.
The head of every man is Christ: perfect man.
The head of Christ is God: perfect & merciful.

Perfect Love(God) hath no fear(hath torment).
Mercy Full hath no sacrifice(slaughter) at all.

It's "allegory" in both "covenants": Galatians 4.

The GRACE(GOD) of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

When Jesus was told that His mother and His brother are waiting for Him, He turned to the crowd and said, "Who is my mother and my brother?" He talked about whoever is saved is His mother and brother, for you cannot get to the Father except through Him.
Jesus is God, Jesus is a He.
Jesus did not mention God as his mother or brother, but his Father.
