Can you be nice for a day? What do you think? Can you take one day, and let a person cut in front of you in traffic, or wait for the slow people to cross the street before turning, or can you you take the trash out for your husband? Why don't we have a nice day holiday, I mean since it's so rare for people to be nice these days.

I'm simply saying that if we all get off our high horse and poor me crap then the world would be so much sweeter. I mean maybe its just me, maybe it's just san diego, but everyone is so up tight all the time....Maybe I'm dreaming of june cleaver sunny kind of day with Tony Bennet singing in the background....

I try to be like that everyday! I feel we shouldn't need a holiday to be nice but be nice because its the right thing to do. We all try to excel in life but often forget one of the easiest ways is to be nice it always makes life easier and less stressful.

Have a GREAT day!!!!!!!!!!!

i think that we all try to be kind and nice at the start of the day, i mean nobody sets out to be a jerk every morning but with the stress of trying to fit a thousand things to do into the ten or twelve hours we have to do it makes us get edgy . add the face that we constantly are bombarded with grumpy, selfish people who make us feel the same way and soon we have lost sight of what it is all about, and now we are the grumpy selfish poeple who mess up someone elses day. it would be nice to be able to go the whole day with out having to remind ourselves to be nice, just to do it----and pass that on to others!

What a pleasant thought!

I've been planning to give myself this 'break' for a long time and you've strengthened my resolve. (Hope it's a contagious disease - cause it's going to do a lot of good!)

These are the little things in life that we tend to ignore. I've pondered about this quite a bit. Most of us tend to be nice to people who matter. But once we're out among strangers, its kind of a 'Jekyll & Hyde' syndrome' and you wonder who created this monster?!

Will surely do my bit soon and turn over a new leaf. Thanks and Godbless.

i can let others cross b4 me,
i can give up my bus/train seat to others who r standing,
i can offer all the food i have to everyon els except me n my dog,
i can say thank you, sorry, ur welcome, oh how nice, blah blah to every soul i bump into,
i can keep postin crazy questions on yahoo!answers n give 10 points to the most depressed or sadistic poor soul,
i can say "hey no prob, tats ok" even if someon stamps on my foot or spits on me or pushes me off the sidewalk or kicks in my groin..

n at the end of the day, im gonna b so bloody frustrated being "nice", tat i shall pack my bags n move into a sanatorium for the rest of my life!!!

I hear ya. Way to many people like that out their now a days. Its like they don't even take the time to see the people around them. They just keep walking and don 't even care if they run into people or not.

I am nice most of the time, but some days Im in NO mood.

Youre right, its very common for ppl to be mean these days. It like they find it easier to be mean than to be nice.

I try to be nice everyday. We all have our moments when we aren't, but hopefully the bad moments will be the exception to the rule. It's really not hard to be pleasant and courteous. I wish more people would give it a try. (-:

I probably could, but I wouldn't like it. Then I'd be really mean the next day. :)

I try to be nice all the time...when I fail is when I am too hungry, or too tired.
