Several responses to my previous question indicated their pastor's salary was inadequate. This suggests that there is some amount that represents a more appropriate annual income.

How much you believe your pastor should earn?

Naturally income is linked with the size of a congregation. So please indicate how many usually attend your church each week.

In my following, for the most part, it is a volunteer position. That means that some time has to be devoted to a living, as well as the spiritual sustenance of the congregation. Is this question asked by a pastor trying to seek more money?

The Apostle Paul was a full-time pastor and didn't get paid - he made tents to provide a living for himself.

Although I don't have a problem paying a pastor for a full-time job, I think that the needs of the pastor should be taken care of, not the greeds.

Pastor will be paid according if he is doing his work, that is taking care of his congregation as a good shepherd (Bible say that). In some churches when pastors are not doing good their job, member's church vote, and bring a new man of God to do a better job.Good question.

They're obviously over-paid, if they have money to spend on crystal meth and toy boys, such as Rev. Ted Haggard has been doing. See his attached video.

Pastors shouldn't be paid anything. Spreading fear and ignorance, in the name of love and knowledge, is deplorable.

The Bible is only an old book, and thinking there must be someone to explain it, or act as a messenger between you and God, is ridiculous.

Hmm.. I don't think money really matters to them, I think they are fine with being enriched by God.
