If the earth is 6000 years old then the continents must be near to where they are now. The earth could not have been one continent because it is scientifically proven that it would take much much much longer than 6000 years for the earth to turn from one continent to what it is now. So did the animals fly across the ocean? or did god reach down and move them himselves?

Why are there so many homophobes on here constantly spreading their hatred, being judgmental and hypocritically using religion to justify their bigotry and hatred? It amazes me how time after time; lack of education and home spun prejudice seemingly continues to bring these unfortunate human beings out of the woodwork. The Bible-Pounders are especially bad; their hypocrisy knows no bounds and is astounding to say the least!

Well after watching a few documentaries it said something about a special men or women who have "gods" powers to heal cancer,fractures etc

Do you believe that miracle healers are real, if so how come there are still plenty of doctors.

So, society today has terms like "tolerance" and "acceptance" to refer to one's attitude towards gay people or the gay community. I was wondering if "Tolerance" is a good thing to teach or not.

Personally, I believe Tolerance is stupid to teach, and that parents should be teaching their kids about Acceptance. You tolerate a person's stupid behavior, or a bunch of screaming five-year-olds, but you accept people for things they have no control over.

Just wondering what you all thought...

i dont hate evangelicals. but overall u have to admit they are pretty hardline. they are very if ur not with us ur going to hell.
i think they have the best intentions and are truly working towards the final goal of getting into heaven. but these are some of the things that i dont agree with. they seem to believe, in other religions minus judaism (which they seem to love more than fellow christians) that other religions are all going to hell. they hate gay people yet their leader and founder, was caught getting a male prostitute, and purchasing drugs. but the thing i hate the most, is their failure to ask questions. i knwo alot of evangelicals are extremely educated. but they do follow their leaders as if they are the next messiah and can do no wrong. btw this post is in response to my last post, i dont watn people to think im totally against this religion. im just a little ticked off since because of them, we have this wacko GB who these people blindly follow, i mean they ask no ?s

All I did was to ask some questions. I wanted to borrow a software disc from the counter. I'm authorised to do so. The person was rude just because I asked how many cds are required to burn the software (They do not allow borrowing, only allow us to bring our own CD-Rs for them to burn). The guy was like "How many did you borrow? I replied 1. Then he was like "Then? Why still ask?" I was like, what the hell? 1 software doesn't mean that it only contains 1 cd right? Moreover I was new to the software. Can't the guy just be a little more polite? I was the only one at the counter, it was no rush man. I had more questions but given the way the guy answered me I just had to forgo asking. Why can't people just have a little bit more patience. And that was a helpdesk.
