I have been looking at a Matthew Henry Study Bible. Does anyone use this study bible? I have a few other study bibles, but none of them, overall, are very good. Which is the best?

I have used a Scofiled study bible for years, this is also what our pastor uses as well as a lot of pastorial schools, another good thing to have is a Strongs Concordance.

I would recommend getting yourself a copy of what is called a "red letter" bible - called this because the words that are attributed to Jeshua bin Miriam (Jesus) are in red.

Then only read the stuff in red.

I like the New World Translation and think it is the easiest to read and understand. It also has wonderful helps which enable you to check and recheck the meaning.
