Why are there so many homophobes on here constantly spreading their hatred, being judgmental and hypocritically using religion to justify their bigotry and hatred? It amazes me how time after time; lack of education and home spun prejudice seemingly continues to bring these unfortunate human beings out of the woodwork. The Bible-Pounders are especially bad; their hypocrisy knows no bounds and is astounding to say the least!

By the way, if you think that being gay is anything other than a natural genetic occurrence ... then you're foolish and choose to ignore the very science which cures cancer and diseases (to name a few). Isn't it funny how credible something can be once you need it!

Wish I had an answer for ya honey--Guess they forgot the read their own Bible-so next time let them eat on this.....
Luke 12:57
"Why don't you judge for yourselves what is right?"
Romans 2:1-4
"You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgement on someone else, for at whatever point you judge the other, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgement do the same things. Now we knowthat God's judgement against those who do such things is based on truth. So when you, a mere man, pass judgement on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God's judgement? Or do you show conempt for the riches of his kindness, tolerance and patience, not realizing that God's kindness leads you toward repentance?"
Romans 10:4
"Christ is the end of the law so that their might be righteousness for EVERYONE who believes."
Romans 13:9b-10
"...whatever other commandments there may be, are summed up in this one rule: Love your neighbor as yourself. Love does no harm to its neighbor. Therefore love is the fullfilment of the law."

and my all time fave...
Luke 6:37, 41-42
"Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven....Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attentionto the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, 'Brother let me take the speck out of your eye,' when you yourself fail to see the plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye."

God bless and Just so you know---I am bisexual and a deist and completely understand where you are coming from.

Oh, please, you love it. Having to be on the defensive letting everybody know ad nauseum what you do in the bedroom. That's the bottom line right? Sex. I'm straight and I don't go around telling everyone what I do behind closed doors because nobody gives a shiite. This isn't about religion, bigotry or hatred. It's about a group of gays who decided at some point that the whole world cared what orifices they were or weren't using. Keep your sex lives in the bedroom and you wouldn't have to take any crap and your righteous question is more judgmental than the worse stuff I've ever heard out of any so called homophobes.

First of all, congratulations on your ability to make a decision and take a stand. In America, we should have this freedom. But we should be equally respectful of those that may oppose us.

I'm a "homophobe," as you call it, but not because of religion. Frankly, I believe you people have the phobia (hetero-phobia) and could benefit from some counseling.

I fear homosexuality because I believe it is selfish, discriminatory, unhealthy, dangerous, embarrassing, sickening and contagious. The more we accept it, the more people will consider the lifestyle. The more people consider it, the more will join it. We're all sexual animals susceptible to the temptations of sexual indulgence. We're also fearful for our children. We don't want our children to experiment with homosexual behavior or to even consider it, especially at an early age because we fear that our children may be influenced by it. We want grandchildren someday. Homosexuals tend to be more promiscuous and thus more suseptible to infection. They are discriminatory in that they exclude the opposite sex in their relationships and hateful in their disrespect of family tradition and attacks on people of faith.

One of the most disturbing things about homosexuals is their desire to be victims and their intent to seek minority status. I also reject the idea that I should be forced to recognize gay marriage as the same as real marriage. These are culture changing suggestions that I and many others simply don't see a need for and feel strong enough about to say so.

These so called "Christians" that haunt this forum to preach to gays are frauds at best. Or are the embodiment of evil they say they warn us about.

The ones that say they love the sinner are the worse, for if they really cared about anything other than grandstanding, they would speak up the loudest against the more vicious of their ilk. But they remain silent, because they are cowards and frauds.

Cowards!

Their faith is paper thin, they stand for nothing but their own ego. True Christians would be leading the fight against the haters, not sitting back in silence.

Frauds!

So spare me this garbage from the so called "Christians" that you love the sinner not the sin. You are not a Christian, but a wolf in sheep's cloak.

The reason why there are so many homophobes not just on here but all over because they view homosexuality as unnatural and immoral. It's wrong how some people are ignorant and can't accept differences such as race, religion, and sexual orientation. They just cant handle anything that's unique but difference is what makes the world go round.

You need to listen closer and stop trying to put words in our mouth. We believe homosexual acts are a sin but we don't hate the people committing the sin. We hate the sin , not the sinner. If we just didn't say anything or told you that what you are doing was okay, that would be an act of hate.

No one hates you. The bible says it's wrong. What else am I supposed think about it as a Christian? I don't judge anyone. I think you're anger isn't so much with the reader of the bible as the writer of it.
