The Old Testament saints will also be in Heaven because of their faith in God. Many of them, like Abraham, also knew of a promised Messiah and looked for His coming.
Read the book of Hebrews.

The truth is only a select few of the believers since Jesus go to heaven. All those who died before him and all those who have not been chosen to rule as kings and priests with him will inherit the earth as the scripture promises, "The meek will inherit the earth (land, in some translations) and they will live forever upon it."

All those who died before Jesus went to heaven are still sleeping in death awaiting the time when Jesus, who has been given the authority, will resurrect them all back to life and they will live forever on a cleansed earth, along with other righteous, meek ones who inherit the earth. (PSALM 37:9-11)
JOHN 5:28,29--"Do not be amazed at this, because a time is coming when all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come out—those who have done good things, to the resurrection of life, but those who have done wicked things, to the resurrection of judgment."

In Hades there is a resting place for evil - Hell - and a resting place for those who believed in God the Father - Abraham's Bosom or Paradise. When Christ died on the cross he brought about salvation in which those who asked for his forgiveness and followed him could once again enter into the presence of God the Father. Now our spirit can go to be with God immediately when we die, (our body will join at the 2nd coming of Christ Jesus) those who have not followed Jesus are still in Hades.
During the 3 days that Jesus was dead (before he arose and showed himself on earth to over 500 people) he descended into Hades to preach the news of salvation to those that had previously passed waiting in Abraham's Bosom. Of course, they accepted him and was them cleansed by Jesus in order to enter into the presence of God the Father in Heaven. At the end of the 40 days that he walked on earth after he arose, he ascended into Heaven were he remains until he comes to earth again.

Animal sacrafice was a means of forgivness, in the Old Testament before Jesus. If a person sinned, he would take a perfect animal to the priest. The priest would slaughter the animal and the persons sins would be forgiven. It was a forshadow of what was to come. Jesus was the "Lamb of God." He shed his blood once and for all.

before Jesus came, there was a place set aside for those who believed in God until He came (Abraham's bosom). all of those who believed in the one and true God were taken to Heaven after Jesus died on the cross, paying the price for their sins, and took the keys from Satan. he (satan) could no longer keep them, their price had been paid through Jesus, He was their savior as well as ours

it could be sensible that you'll outline judgment, you're saying some Christians want to guage.in a lot of situations human beings say this even as a christian has talked about a sin of their lives, Jesus suggested we will comprehend them by technique of their fruit and if you're carring some rotten culmination on your basket, i wager a believer has a correct to point them out to you by your self income. This all of us have a challenge because we adore sin or perhaps as one exposes it in our lives we accuse them of being judgmental. Judgment will be on the best of time and easily God will choose all mankind. Jesus did not have a challenge with the problem-loose guy yet with the Pharisees who were self righteous. So if you're self righteous, sure you're able to have a challenge with Jesus , yet in case you seek for actuality you'll settle for him.

Yah its just another fanatical statement. This is why there are so many lost Christians and Atheists. They made God into the most unmerciful person. In fact they made themselves more merciful than God. You have to get the whole understanding of Reincarnation and Karma etc. GO to http://www.essene.org for the lost teachings of Christ What the Catholic Church doesn't want you to know

before jesus the laws were written. they governed practically every thing in the life of gods people, how to live what to do if you sinned and i doubt that we survive in this day. the dead were place in a spiritual place to wait for the prophacy to be fulfilled. after christ died on the cross there was a mighty earth quake and the graves gave up the dead who went to be with the lord.
