When I study a religion, I become that religion. I try to place myself in the position of the believer as much as possible, in order to gain a deeper understanding. In so doing, I've found there is truth in all religions.

So I'm making up my own conglomerate religion, with elements of Christianity, Hinduism, and Judaism, etc.
What should I call it?

I find it a strange paradox that there is so much violence in such a publicly declared holy period.

In addition, when the Pope reads something about violence and the Muslim faith from the 14th century, the immediate response is violence! So could someone explain the disconnect?

condemnation, how do you respond to this remark?
Isn't this a double standard in the usage of tolerance by those who claim to be tolerant?

A lady at work lost her daughter to cancer. We sent out an email stating that if people would like to donate money, we were going to provide food to the family. People donated money, and then the other girls in my department decided to just give the money to our coworker. Is that proper, or should they have used the money for what we had specified it was going to be used for? I objected but my coworkers insisted that we help her out by reimbursing money she has already spent. What do you think?

I feel that we are a very hard working society, perhaps one of the hardest working on the planet. And I do think that it's a great thing because look at all the advances we have made in science, medicine, law, etc. But are we also making ourselves an unhappy people putting value on success and wealth above all else? Not all of us do, but it seems like we live in a society that tells us the greatest people are the ones with the highest level jobs at their companies and we step all over each other's toes to get there. When I drive to work sometimes other commuters swerve around me and give me an angry look because I wasn't going fast enough. Do you think we would be kinder to each other if we weren't all in such a rush to get to our jobs and make the almighty dollar? Sure, maybe people are just running late but do we have to be so mean to each other? I know we all need money to live, but I think the pursuit of too much of it can make us very unhappy in the long run. Your thoughts?

My neighbors upstairs throw lite ciggarates out their window and they land right outside mine. They also throw trash, cups, water. I have never met them, but I need to stop it before a fire happens. They also have two little kids that run at late hours at night while my son is sleeping. I banged on the wall once, but it only stoped for a short while. I know there will be some noise, but the is extreme. What can I do to put a stop to it.

On average women speak a total of 7,000 words within a 24 hour time period. Men, on the other hand, only speak on average 2,000 words. Why do you think this is true?

They're different. I know somebody who can see spirits, but cant feel what these spirits feel, and I know somewbody, who can sense the presence of a spirit, or other creatures not like us, and she can also feel, and explain what the spirits are doing, and the reason for being there. She can also see and feel the spirits or souls, even over the phone or internet? Like, when she was talking to her friend over the phone, she can tell and feel the presence of these souls. Even through the handwriting or drawing, she can see or relate to what u draw or write, by just lookin at it, even if she hasnt seen no gone to the said place. Its unbelievable, but its true. I know her. Can anybody explain this? can anybody relate to this?

My sister and I both have sons in the Army. One in Iraq, one in Afghanistan, and one about to deploy. We both want to do an Army/American Pride tree. Any ideas for ornaments? We are already knee deep in yellow ribbons, and camo balls. Also, an idea for a tree topper. Thanks.
