God is neither man nor woman. I believe in god as being energy, and a balance of masculine and feminine.

I do not think God has a gender. One can think of God as the life force or sentience that permeates the cosmos - gravity or levity, it matters not.t's not a human being. It has no gender; it's not a male. It has no color; it's not white. It has no size and no container. That life force, or "God," is not a giant white man, as we have been told, who can mysteriously incarnate himself through the womb of a virgin of any particular ethnicity. Rather than being historical, these are myths that are merely symbolic for the creation of matter out of spirit.
God existed before even the concept of ‘attribute’ was born. Obviously, God couldn’t have any attribute. So God is neither good nor bad, it’s beyond good and bad. God genderless, colorless and so on. We cannot attach any attributes or properties to God. Nobody can say what God is. We can only say what God is not. When we say God is not this and God is not that; God is neither good nor bad; God is neither colorful nor colorless and so on; when we have said all that God is not, what’s left is God.
God is the ESSENCE of everything. Like the essence of a wooden chair is ‘wood’, the essence of wood is ‘tree’, the essence of tree is ‘seed’, take it as far as possible and when you come to the end complete it by saying that the essence of that last thing is God, because everything started with that essence.

Why would a God need a gender? If God does have a gender, is it fashionable among the godlike set for God to be a man? If you were a male God, would you need to have sex, and if not, why be male or female? Would companionship be necessary at all? If you don't need godlike companionship, what sense does it make to concern yourself with lowly humans?
The whole God thing is completely ridiculous. It falls apart when you begin to look at it seriously, even in the most basic ways, such as gender roles. It defies logic and reason, which are supposed to be two of God's most important creations. Again, why would God defy his own most beloved rules?
If there really is a God, his obvious attempts at humor are very cold-hearted.

God used the masculine gender for the descriptive language in the Bible, but there are explicit indications that gender is a useless and unimportant thing in heaven. Read the account in Matthew 22:23-33 (verse 30 in particular), Mark 12 recounts the same, as does Luke 20. Galatians 3:26-29 (verse 28 in particular) is what some call "God's equal rights amendment". In Revelation, God deals with crowds and the bulk of humanity as a whole. There is the imagery in chapter 21 of a city "as a bride adorned for her husband" and that is followed with expressions as "I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife"--alluding with the "Lamb" to the one in chapter 5, who is the figure of Christ.
The man and woman thing was a creation of God's doing (Genesis 1-3). God was before there was a man or a woman. But there is something in both men and women that the Bible calls the 'image of God'. We do have a warning that the final answer is not exactly a simple one, "Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure" (1 John 2:2-3). So, things may not be obvious right now.

to me god dose not exist in the first place
but when i am referring to 'IT' i normally say it is a "SHE"
this is because the bible bashes where i live call it a "HE"
i just like the idea of making them look at me in that way of
'not she, god is a he'
i then question why it could not be be a 'she'
i never get a good reason
just goes to show how sexist the religion community is where i live
god is love not a gender
love has no boundaries race age gender or disability
so why should god!

God is a spirit. He is not a man or a woman. But the way He loves his children is through a fatherly love. That is why we call him Father, not mother. A father disciplines his children because he knows his children can do better and don't want them to make horrible mistakes in life. The same is with God. He loves us so much that He sent his only son to die for our sins on the cross. He took the wrath of God's anger on himself so that we can be forgiven. But it is a relationship. If you ignore this love, then you won't know God. If you do repent of your sins and trust Jesus to save you, then you enter into a relationship with God. and He will love you for eternity. Again, this love is a fatherly love and His love disciplines us for His Glory.

Well, I'll tell you. I think there are much better questions, since there is no God, BUT I would vote to institute a woman, a Goddess, and then believe me, there would be no more wars, racism, or the like...

if there is a god, then god is neither man or woman. god is without gender. to believe otherwise is like saying one gender is better than another because god is of that gender. god made his son but did not have him like a mother would and did not father him like a father would.

Since I believe that God is a "Man-made" artifact - I would have to say that he is a man. I think that is what most religions show him as.
However, if there was a real God then I doubt that he would have either testicles or ovaries.

I think it's very limited. It's based on, most likely, cristian monotheistic ideas of the divine. I worship a couple divines. Which one are you talking about?
