I've never read the Koran so I am asking in complete ignorance...are their texts THAT different and I've heard they share some of the same prophets...maybe Moses? I'm not sure how that works..can someone clarify why the issues are prevalent at times? Thanks!

I am gearing towards guilty especially since he stepped down and admitted to some of the allegations. I think that it is wrong for him to stand at the pulpit and preach on what is right then turn his back and commit all the sins he did that he knows is wrong. What an influence! A lot of our leaders today are becoming corrupt in some shape or form and it is our job (those who seek GOD'S way) to vote and get involved in these type of things otherwise the world as we know it is going to continue to go down becoming a sinful world more than it is today.

...because of loosing seed. Than it would be sin for men, but not for women, because women do not loose eggs while masturbating.

And would be menstruation be a sin, coz we loose eggs in that period? (but we can not controle that, so not possible to count that as sin)

Just trying to get some logic out of that sin-notsin problem.

Why is it that when men go to the bathroom for a "number 2" it stinks up the whole room and can be smelled from a distance outside the bathroom (even with the door shut) and the smell lingeres around for some time that nobody wants to go into the room after them, but when women do, it does not smell half as bad and is not unbearable like mens?

Has anyone else noticed?
Is there a scientific explanation to this?

I came across the term twice: it is the name of a valuable card from the trading card game Magic: The Gathering, and a character from the fighting game Tekken 5 (Devil Jin) says 'Fear the wrath of God!' as his opening line. But is the term biblical or anti-biblical? Just curious. I'm not a Christian.

It was reported on CNN international that 75% of all American babys born now are clinically obese.

This is supposed to be because of evolution-Eg because the adult is obese for the majority of his life, the genes mutate in the next genaration.

"Evangelical quits amid gay sex claim" By CATHERINE TSAI, Associated Press Writer, November 3,2006.
The Rev. Ted Haggard, The president of the National Association of Evangelicals, an outspoken opponent of gay marriage, resigned as president of the 30 million-member association Thursday after being accused of paying a man for monthly trysts over the past three years.
The acting senior pastor at New Life, Ross Parsley, told KKTV-TV of Colorado Springs that Haggard admitted that some of the accusations were true."I just know that there has been some admission of indiscretion, not admission to all of the material that has been discussed but there is an admission of some guilt,"
In 2004 Canada released its first-ever survey of "sexual orientation" revealing a one-percent incidence of homosexual persons. About 1.3 percent of men homosexual, about twice the proportion of 0.7 percent among women. THESE NUMBERERS ARE IN LINE WITH U.S. STATISTICS.

For those who say that all that is necessary to be a Christian or to be saved is to accept Jesus as your Lord and savior, how does the parable of the separation of the sheep and goats (Matthew 25: 31-46) fit in with that belief?

Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you accursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.
For I was hungry and you gave me no food, I was thirsty and you gave me no drink, a stranger and you gave me no welcome, naked and you gave me no clothing, ill and in prison, and you did not care for me.'

Then they will answer and say, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or ill or in prison, and not minister to your needs?'

He will answer them, 'Amen, I say to you, what you did not do for one of these least ones, you did not do for me.'

And these will go off to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life."
