Number 2: mens stink more?

Question

Why is it that when men go to the bathroom for a "number 2" it stinks up the whole room and can be smelled from a distance outside the bathroom (even with the door shut) and the smell lingeres around for some time that nobody wants to go into the room after them, but when women do, it does not smell half as bad and is not unbearable like mens?

Has anyone else noticed?
Is there a scientific explanation to this?

Perhaps because us males (or some of us) still have the order to 'eat all, sonny!' ensconced into our wee heads - and so we will eat anything on a plate, whereas lasses find a more mature and sensible way to get all the vitamins they need...could be some eat nowt at all, but I think our eating methods (waste not, want not) has us eat what's in front of us (and more) - which usually results in powerful 'numero dos' droppings.

It all depends on what you eat, when you eat more meat, trash food, and less fiber, less vegetables and healthy food, it makes your body had a real hard job processing all that stuff, so your "anatomic waste" stinks more, it's not about women or men, it just an anabolic rule for everybody, look at your pets, for example a dog, if you feed them with preprocessed food (ie: super-dog food and thinks like that) their poo doesn't even stink, it's solid and dries fast, feed them with crude meat and you are going to know what I'm talking about. Also, older people tends to have more problem processing the food in their bodies, so when the food "comes out", it's hardly assimilated, so their "No.2" stinks a lot, when you are young (15-25) you have a fast metabolism, you can eat like an animal and process all the food very good and fast, hardly getting fat, and have a lot of energy, try the same when you hit 30-35...

It really depends on the man. Typically, a laddish man (I would think that there are more of those than laddish women) have a poorer diet with less fibre, and as a result their bowel movement isn't as good as it should be, and so their number 2's are smellier.

Get a woman who eats the same sort of diet and has the same habits as such laddish man, and I think you'll find that her poo will stink as much.

Hmm I don't know about this.
My 8 year old daughter can leave me reeling when I walk in there after her sometimes. I'm looking for an air tank in a half second.

ermmmmm.... because in general men stink more... B.O... bad breath....smelly feet... if women do have these they are never as bad as a blokes.... the boys changing rooms at school use to pong really badly but the girls didn't....(and no i do not have a good explanation for being in the boys changing rooms *she smiles*).... blokes dont fib about it wen u know it's true....lol

Yeah but when we do a number 1 we don't leave the toilet smelling as bad a when a girl does it. I'm sure I can smell it when they are ON.

Men seam to take longer in the loo & so the smell lingers more as they take longer to flush the poo away. I think!

It does not becessarily follow.
It all depends upon what one eats.
Whether, man or woman, as long as one eats
something which has strong odor and mostly meat,
it stinks more.
