Waste not want not....

Who cares? Sin is an outdated concept. Instead of having your morality spoon-fed to you, try thinking for yourself.

I'm sure you can come up with the pros and cons of wasting food. You have a brain. If you buy your food, no matter how much, you do contribute to the economy. Whether there is enough food to go around or not is debatable, but there doesn't seem to be any local shortages. Perhaps you should look into the politics of food relief. There are people going hungry, not because of a lack of food, but because of a government keeping it from them.

Does that have any affect on you? Is there a way you can help them? Would wasting some of the food in your refrigerator really help or hurt the political situation overseas? Would it even be practical to send your food to them?

Think! Research! Form your own opinions on what is right and wrong.

First of all, God does not hold grudges so i wouldnt be fearful of mistakes per say. Rather than focusing on sinning and sin, perceive what God would want u 2 do or wot he sees as necessary. Waste is unnecessary, so dont waste/ it isnt wise 2 waste. Its that simple.

God doesn't say that it is a sin, but common sense says that it is being wasteful and it is not good stewardship of what we are entrusted with. I can't afford to be wasteful with anything (3 kids) and not wasting food is a good place to start if you want to begin saving money.

Any intentional waste is sin.

depends upon how an individual thinks. personally would not consider this a sin but would consider it an improper action unless there were extenuating circumstances such as bad food or allergies involved.

Not a sin, I don't think, but I don't do it. I can't afford to and I feel guilty on the rare occasion that I do.
