I am gearing towards guilty especially since he stepped down and admitted to some of the allegations. I think that it is wrong for him to stand at the pulpit and preach on what is right then turn his back and commit all the sins he did that he knows is wrong. What an influence! A lot of our leaders today are becoming corrupt in some shape or form and it is our job (those who seek GOD'S way) to vote and get involved in these type of things otherwise the world as we know it is going to continue to go down becoming a sinful world more than it is today.

It's too bad he couldn't come out of the closet when he was younger with the homophobic climate of his youth. Denying who you are as god made you is truly the greatest sin.

I think it's good that Haggard has stepped down, especially as facts are being sorted out, but I think Christians need to stop making "The Ted Haggard Show" some form of sick entertainment that they can gawk over and they should start praying for the guy. Check out the blog entry about Haggard that I posted yesterday.

You and I are not qualified to judge sin; only God is. If Mr. Haggard is guilty, God will deal with it. If he's innocent, this is all a terrible tragedy.

I'm not aware that he admitted to any of the allegations. The last I read, he denied them all. Where did you read this?

Stepping down doesn't constitute an admission; it merely permits the church to continue to function without being under a cloud.

Peace.

He admits to some of them.

That's why I avoid all forms of organized religion.

In God I trust, in man, no way!
