My sister and I both have sons in the Army. One in Iraq, one in Afghanistan, and one about to deploy. We both want to do an Army/American Pride tree. Any ideas for ornaments? We are already knee deep in yellow ribbons, and camo balls. Also, an idea for a tree topper. Thanks.

why not get your sons' unit patches and put hooks on them for ornaments; you can add interest to the patch ornaments by adding a small red, white, or blue bow at the top; also, if the boys (men) have received any ribbons you can duplicate them on your tree; don't forget to make photo ornaments of the guys in and out of uniform; please send the guys my thanks and best wishes

Gold ornaments with Army Green bows glued to the top. The tree topper should be a really shiny gold star.

Try hobby lobby or any craft store they have really cool silver charms that can be later added to a remembrance bracelet to wear all year long.
