I think he's the victim of someone looking for attention. However i wouldn't be surprised if there is some truth to it.

This is why it is very important to pray for our church leaders as well. They need prayer too. They are human too. Evil wants to bring down the leaders so that it may break the faith of others. Anyone can get too involved in meth without realizing it. Its horrible. As for the Gay relations, well there is no proof...yet.
Dear Lord, I pray that you are with Mr Haggard and his family, keep the evil away from and protect him. Amen.

LOL...isn't it just the way?
How long have we said that extreme "homophobes" are usually just extremely closeted homosexuals, so neurotic about their own inclinations that they turn on those who don't share their hangups?
And the "religious right"...yeah, we all knew they were a bunch of hypocritical whack-jobs, but it's nice to have it confirmed yet again.
It's interesting to watch the political fallout from scandals like these. The GOP still doesn't know how to spin the Foley thing. You find people who normally say we ought to stone the homos, rushing to his defense by trying to claim that the pages were 18+...lol. And that ties in to the Catholic Church scandal, which should've been the death knell for the whole religion, considering how incredibly widespread the epidemic of sex abuse is in its ranks - but people are willing to overlook literally ANYTHING as long as the Jesus⢠brand name is attached in some way. Sure, rape our kids - it's just a "few bad apples," right?
The lesson from all these scandals SHOULD be that hypocrisy and repression don't work, and can lead to some disastrous unintended consequences. But instead, people just fall back on the same tired bigotries and hypocrisies. "It could just be a Homosexual with an agenda - I'll pray for him." Yeah, you do that. Great company you keep.

Well right now, we dont know what is true and what isnt true. So i guess as christians, americans, people of this world, We just need to wait it out. If they are true, Then Okay.
A sin is between, GOD, MAN, AND HIS FAMILY. Not the world. Who are we to judge someone, if we ourselves have sinned? Yes he was a very well known leader, but who in this world is perfect? No one. The president isnt, you arent, im not, your teachers, your parents, your kids. I think it was wrong of that guy to PUBLICALLY announce the "scandel". It should have been done in private with his family, and his choice to announce it to the world or not.
Just pray for him, and his family.

He said it is a lie. I will accept that. It could very well be a Homosexual with an agenda, laying about a Man of God. Either way I'll be Praying for him.
