Our home is headed for ruination. All the reports including one i saw on the news today regarding the fish stocks in the sea needing to be protected from commercial fishing , fossil fuels like gas, oil, climate change, deforestation. We will not make it past 2050 without radical change.

man has progressed from being a cave man to a space man but not due to technology alone. The more we advance the more the destruction we create....look at the world situation today. When we are using technology to destroy half the world and natural calamities like global warming etc add to this, God help us. Carefree long life is a dream my dear....look around you. Even the rich and famous cannot afford this dream.

It will depend on the personality I think. Some need things others apparently don't. Who can say really? It will be the 24th century after all.

Again I say good day to BorgPet 6 of 10 and I pet your head.

Heck, I'm living at the beginning of the 21st century and doing just fine without a deity. What's three hundred years more going to change besides the niftiness of technology?

Yes! Because it's not about how long we live but the quality of life that we live. Is my life full of happiness, joy, love, forgiveness, peace etc.? Or do we just live out the number of our days with no purpose, no laughter, no real relationship with anyone?

God's will for us is to live out the number of our days fulfilled with everything His word promises us that we have.

I would say. You to be living in a presence closest to God and would have no further questions to finding Him. Your questions would most likely be more fully answered and your life content until you find yourself to be adrift again to the edge of knowledge.

You don't need god now. I am quite happy without that particular concept in my life. I'm a scientist, and supernatural explanations of phenomena are not admissible in scientific discourse.

You would still need God because you are still going to die. The reason why you die is because you are not perfect like God is perfect. We die because of sin. Sin is a killer. Sin offends God. God sent his son, Jesus to offer forgiveness for our sins by taking God's full wrath that we deserve on the cross. That is how loving God is. He sacrificed his only begotten son for our sinfulness because of love. Please don't ignore this love. Respond by repenting of your sins and trust Jesus to save you.
