Do you alwaya tell the truth?

If not, why not? Is it fear of punishment? How do U deal with those who lie to you?

Here is the lie

told my husband that his father had come over and was having chills and I put him to bed and got in after him to give him some body heat. Needless to say it was the middle of summer and his father was not and did not look sick

Lie please I been sleeping with my father in law for 12 years and laying about it with success

yes,,, I don't like it when people lie to me, If I know someone is blowing smoke up my butt I will shrug them off and change the subject, I have a friend that has a hard time telling the whole truth, I have ( in a real nice way) told her to quit blowing smoke up my butt and to quit pulling garbage out of her butt to tell me, and those are the exact words, except the word butt would be *ss and garbage would be sh**.. see I couldn't even use the proper words without coming clean on it,

for several reasons like hating liars and knowing that a lie is wrong and it'll build a lot of wrong things on it whether i notice it or i don't.

Yes, I always tell the truth. My Father always said "Let there never be any lies between us". So since I never lied to him, why should I lie to any one else?

I do - I believe that the truth can cause someone pain, but the lies hurt even more. Especially if you find out the truth from someone else.
