I have a cold, so I think I'll rent a few movies and skip the Halloween parties. But I don't like slasher flicks.

How does abortion destroy and disreapect these truths:
- we are not God (like we can't play the role of God and choose our death or someone else's)
- we have rights and responsiblities (God gave us the right to life)
- we posses freedom; we must use it responsibly (we are given free will, which can be used for good or evil)
-we image God best when we love one another ( as a communtiy, we must help the weak, such of a women thinking of abortion and help them)
Please choose 3 (or 4 if you'd like) and in your opinion, how does abortion destroy or disrespect these truths?
Thanks xoxo :) (religion assignment)

I want to make an alternative argument for Creationism or I.D. and I need the list of scientific discoveries that point to the Universe having a creator instead of the universe existing naturally and for itself rather than as an extension of any supernatural beings like gods, to explain its existence.

thanks in advance

christ was born in the spring . christmas replaced a pagan holiday to try to appeal to the masses of pagans . not to mention the giant santa clause that has been in my local wal-mart for a month now . all of those presents aren't going to the poor .

I was just walking home from work, admiring the moon, which is really bright and clear, and I turned a corner and in this garden every single tree was decorated with Christmas lights.
I was so cross I wanted to go and knock on their door and yell "IT'S F.CKING OCTOBER!"

So my question is, in your experience, what is more STUPID than Christmas lights in October?

(And I just got another violation notice, for 'chatting', so looks like I've got to keep it a bit more brief from now on. How dull. What happens if I get too many of them?)

reach straight for there guns if they can't solve a family problem?

i was watching a program on digital tv, its was this female host who had these families of murder victims on.

and this husband had been wanting sex, but she didnt, so he got his shotgun and held it to her head until she agreed.

she went to the bathroom, until she thought he had fell asleep.

as she was trying to leave, he popped up in bed with his gun, and aimed it at her, and her first reaction was to shoot him in the head.

i found it quite odd, as i would of shot him in the hand (to get the gun out of his hand), or i would off knee-capped him. and most people i know would do the same in the situation that woman was in.

neither people were in the right ofcourse, but americans seem alot more trigger happy than in the british people, and we can guns over here, illegally ofcourse, but it IS possible.

Relgion is anti-progress, anti-freedom, anti-medicine, anti-research, anti-women's rights.

Religion has provided NO new knowledge of our Universe.

Scientific research has expanded our knowledge of the universe and the place of the human species within it. Human inquiry is now able to advance and to have its findings confirmed by science and reason, while the metaphysical and theological speculations of the past have made little or no progress. The discoveries of astronomy, physics, relativity theory, and quantum mechanics have increased our understanding of the universe — from the scale of micro-particles to that of galaxies.

Why claim that Einstein was deeply religious when this is simply false. is your argument so weak that you must resort to lies.

Why have these people ignored what Einstein himself had to say :

A man's ethical behavior should be based effectually on sympathy, education, and social ties and needs; no religious basis is necessary. Man would indeed be in a poor way if he had to be restrained by fear of punishment and hope of reward after death. [Albert Einstein, Religion and Science, New York Times Magazine, 9 November 1930]

It was, of course, a lie what you read about my religious convictions, a lie which is being systematically repeated. I do not believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly. If something is in me which can be called religious then it is the unbounded admiration for the structure of the world so far as our science can reveal it. [Albert Einstein, 1954, from Albert Einstein: The Human Side]
