How does abortion destroy and disreapect these truths:
- we are not God (like we can't play the role of God and choose our death or someone else's)
- we have rights and responsiblities (God gave us the right to life)
- we posses freedom; we must use it responsibly (we are given free will, which can be used for good or evil)
-we image God best when we love one another ( as a communtiy, we must help the weak, such of a women thinking of abortion and help them)
Please choose 3 (or 4 if you'd like) and in your opinion, how does abortion destroy or disrespect these truths?
Thanks xoxo :) (religion assignment)

Gee, I think I'm one of the very few who even read your question before judging. That little Religion assignment on the bottom means that this isn't necessarily your opinion, but that of a religious class.

- we are not God
We have no right to play with another's life. I'm even against the death penalty and war (but I do support our troops. It's not their fault that they are over there and wish them a safe return)

- we have rights and responsiblities
I have read that statistically, more abortions are preformed because the mother just doesn't want it and not because of incest, rape or life of the mother. It's just a tool now for birth control, taking away the responcibility of people. You do the deed, you should be ready to face the concequences.

-we image God best when we love one another
We should help others out. If we had more programs (or got the programs that exist more coverage) for the women who get accidently knocked up, then we can get rid of abortion for birth control purposes. I also think we should have a program stating that only a legal guardian can sign for an underage girl to get an abortion.
Good luck with your homework.

This replaced right into a prior due abortion. in my view I don’t trust previous due abortions bc the new child is accessible like this one replaced into. And all of us know that its no longer a gaggle of cells! the new child has a heartbeat a physique formed by capacity of the time they want the abortion (frequently between 10-13 weeks) i think of as long using fact the female is armed with the documents and he or she nevertheless comes to a decision to do it its as much as her she has to stay along with her determination no longer me. My concepts is sparkling on judgment day. So I evaluate myself to be professional-determination I don’t think of it would be as much as politicians what we do! yet as much as the guy EDIT: the version is the if its legalized Politicians supply you and determination If its banned you don’t have an determination its you don’t do it and that’s it. yet another debate now could be in the event that they do ban it women persons are nevertheless going to do it! Now i might incredibly a women persons circulate to a secure sparkling authorized place and function one executed by capacity of a qualified expert than to somebody’s abode the place they'll stick a crochet needle interior the female or a hanger and carry out the abortion at abode and now no longer in basic terms did we loose somewhat one yet in addition a mom, daughter, sister aunt somebody who for what ever reason (I’m no longer one to assert while its ok and while it isnt) made up their concepts and needed an abortion they are going to get it legalized or no longer. Abortion isn’t a "NEW" subject remember women persons have been doing organic abortions for many some years now in basic terms distinction is now a medical expert is doing it

I don't think that abortion destroys nor disrespects these truths, but confirms many of them. Women have rights, they possess freedom and God has given them free will to make choices. They also bear the responsibility for the choices they make, whether good or evil. Either way, she answers to God for the choice she makes, but it is her choice.

- we have rights and responsiblities

we have the moral obligation to protect life, it is the responsiblity of the person, both male and female, to remain abstenent until marriage. abortion is destruction of life, and the destruction of the potentiality for something really good.

- we posses freedom; we must use it responsibly (we are given free will, which can be used for good or evil) likewise we have the potential to be fully good, however this is a choice, you can faulter and not be good, or you can try and succedd, but to end a life, to willingly choose to end this life, is no more than passing judgment on something that has all potential and nothing evil.

Yes, we have a 'right to life'; as does an unborn child.
An abortion puts a woman's desire, above an unborn child's right to life.
While I as a general rule, I am Pro-life, of the child; I realize that there comes a point that being pro-life an innocent child, can also mean being Pro-death of an innocent mother. If both lives are at stake, I do not see at present where the 'doctor is 'wrong' in saving either mother or child; when both can not be saved.

Since we are not God, we have no right to decide that it is nessecary to end thelife of a child. God has the right to end life, because he has created it. Parents have PROcreated it. But it is God who has made the life. Secondly, we have free will, and therefore we can sinor do good.. We can love and spread truth, and we can lie steal cheat and murder. Since we are given this responsibility, we have to pursue what is good. Abortion, is murder. Thats an easy one...not good.

So long as you contest abortion on religious grounds, you will never win the fight. Take it from a pro-life atheist.

You need to study the science of pregnancy, the development of the foetus, the key milestones (neural activity, viability), the distinction between foetus metabolism and maternal metabolism, the nature of the genes in the development of a human, etc, if you're going to convince people.

Sadly, most pro-lifer's are so religious that they'll refuse to do this because to do so would provide so much evidence for evolution it's not funny... so instead of debating its moral basis on the sound and firm ground of science, they can only thump their bibles for fear of learning that evolution is a fact and that the theory of evolution is our best understanding of that fact.

But one could ask the question that maybe the responsible thing to do is have the abortion.

And if God gives us free will, then He knows that we could make that choice for abortion.

Asa to choosing someone else's death, you have to expand beyond that and look at war, where we do choose someone else's death.

Abortion is not a black or white issue, but many shades and nuances.

Using your "truths" then you should be arguing against the death penalty?

Abortion is NOT murder. If so then all the living cells you scrub off each day in the shower is just the same, killing human cells.
