reach straight for there guns if they can't solve a family problem?

i was watching a program on digital tv, its was this female host who had these families of murder victims on.

and this husband had been wanting sex, but she didnt, so he got his shotgun and held it to her head until she agreed.

she went to the bathroom, until she thought he had fell asleep.

as she was trying to leave, he popped up in bed with his gun, and aimed it at her, and her first reaction was to shoot him in the head.

i found it quite odd, as i would of shot him in the hand (to get the gun out of his hand), or i would off knee-capped him. and most people i know would do the same in the situation that woman was in.

neither people were in the right ofcourse, but americans seem alot more trigger happy than in the british people, and we can guns over here, illegally ofcourse, but it IS possible.

I've never had a family problem that ended with someone reaching for a gun. You need to quit watching so much TV. Visit the US someday. You might learn something that your bias media doesn't tell you.

Not if you wanted to live you wouldn't. Once again, too much TV. Unless you think you're Annie Oakley then you would be wise to aim for their chest (biggest target, also knocks them back better), because if you try to shoot the gun out of somebodies hand or shoot someones knee with only a split second to aim, you're probably going to miss and get shot.

Use you brain, don't let your TV think for you. In real life when someone pops up out of a bed, after threatening your life, with a shotgun aimed right at you, you shoot at THEM. You don't take time to choose and aim for one of the smallest targets you can find (their hand).

There are many guns in the USA and I don't think everyone should have one because it creates too much chaos. There have been many school shootings and millions of people get hurt. That I agree with.
Not all Americans are trigger happy though. Its just that the NRA (National Rifel Association) is a big association in America. Though I understand Hunters owning rifels in their cottages I don't understand why others can, because its gun is a powerful weapon. Not everyone in America has a gone though. I don't.
Also, that was a movie and guns are usually in movies to make the watcher think ther person is dead or to get rid of that person as a climax in the story.
