I am a Christian and I do not attend church on a regular basis. I do however talk about the Lord with many of my friends- most of whom go to different churches. I very regularly talk to my family about God, I talk with my boss about God and I /my family go to a very supportive Pastor when we need guidance. I believe that a place of worship can be a house, outside, in a car- basically anywhere that you teach or listen to God's word. I am a Christian who lives the word everyday, I do not believe that we all need to go to church to worship and I am extremely worried about the people who go to church every week but do not follow in God's word Monday - Saturday. In conclusion, I do believe that church is a good place to gather with other believers, but not the only place in where we can worship and/or gather. I have time for God in my life everyday, not just on Sundays from 11:00-12:30.

Whether you attend church or not doesn't have a bearing on your spirituality. The bible tells us not to forsake the assembling together. Believers need each other to help carry the spiritual burdens. When one is weak the others are strong. What do you do when you face a crisis if you are not in a regular circle of believers?

I think that if you profess a belief in, and alliegance to a particular faith, then you should celebrate that faith with other believers.

Be it Christian, pagan or otherwise, it's difficult to practice as such alone. When my grandfather was ill, and I was young, he would attend church services as best he could by watching them on TV. It was difficult for him to not be able to go to church physically, but he still maintained as much contact as possible.

I tend to think that if a person does not congregate with other believers, then that faith isn't, perhaps, as important to them as they would have others believe.

That's just my opinion though.

It was explained to me like this. We are a BODY of believers and we need all parts. Our body needs the neck to support the head, the legs to hold up the torso...

The other reason to attend church is to be spiritually fed.

well i don't really know if is ok or not but i really think it would be great if you go to church. because you get teachings and more knowledge about his word so that you can be able to teach other as you said you are doing.

i hope this helps.

I THINK IT IS ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE TO KEEP UP AS A CHRISTIAN AND NOT ATTEND SOME KIND OF WORSHIP AMONG OTHER BELIEVERS. THE BIBLE DOES SAY FORESAKE NOT THE ASSEMBLY OF YOURSELVES...WHERE ANY 2 AGREE.. ETC. SO AS FAR AS A DESIGNATED BLDG FOR CHURCH...NAH...BUT AS FOR HAVING SERVICE SOMEWHERE YES, I THINK IT IS A MUST
