No we are staying home and giving out candy that has been offered to God which is considered Prasad (the Lord Mercy) We figured we would make a spiritual event out of something so weird. Originally it was all saints day. Now it all daemons day. When they say trick or treat we will tell them trick and we say You have to say Gauranga (Gore-runga) to get a treat. Gauranga brings the greatest good and highest joy to those who say it. Its the Universal greeting. Instead of saying Good-day or Hello or good-by say Gauranga! How about staying home and handing out candy to trick or treaters? If everyone's at a party, the poor kids won't have anyone to give them candy!

4 local churches put on a free party for kids whose parents don't celebrate hallowe'en on faith grounds, like me, so we went and played games and ate cakes instead.
