shortest ch Ps 117
longest ch Ps 119
ch in the center Ps 118
There are 594 ch before Ps 118 and 594 ch after Ps 118
594+594=1118 (the center of the Bible is Ps 118:8)
Does this say something about God's will for our lives?
Next time someone asks about God's perfect will for our their lives, send them to the center of His Word!
Ps 118:8 "It is better to trust in the Lord than to put trust in man"(depending on what version you read it will be something to this effect)
Isn't it nice how this worked out that God is in the center of it all?
Got a min to spare? Say a prayer for the person who typed all this up.

We all believe different things. Brought up in different societies with different views of the World. Not everyone is going to think or believe in the same thing. Does that mean that Christians, Pagans, Catholics, Islmams, Hebrews, Buddists, Wiccans or any other religious group be persucuted? Bashed? Hurt? From birth, no matter the religion we are brought up to believe we are taught to love everyone, and I do. I hate no one. There's really no point in that, it wont get you anywhere.

How is it different from disagreeing with an Australian or an American or a Frenchman? Bear in mind that not all Israelis are Jews, and in fact a large portion of the population are secular.

Please do not reply saying the the American language is nearer to the old tradition English language when colonisation took place. It has evolved for both nations since then. This question is regarding modern usage of the language for both nations.

I've been at this office for 6 years. It's multi national and I'm a Brit. Its based in Germany. The problem is that the Germans aren't very friendly. Well, some are, mainly the managers or the people from other departments, but within my office all the Germans seem to ignore me. I think that basically there's a group that don't like the fact that after 6 years I don't speak German with them. This may or may not be the case.

What I want to know is what should I do about it? I don't really want to be friends outside of work with anyone - just to have a bit of courtesy within the workplace.

What to do?

Thanks

I know times have changed. Women have to work etc. But all these crime shows on TV etc. show women who deal with horrific crimes that ladies 50 years ago would have fainted dead away at even reading about them! I still feel a BIT like a woman who would like to be shielded and looked after, are you all REALLY so tough and hard?
