We all believe different things. Brought up in different societies with different views of the World. Not everyone is going to think or believe in the same thing. Does that mean that Christians, Pagans, Catholics, Islmams, Hebrews, Buddists, Wiccans or any other religious group be persucuted? Bashed? Hurt? From birth, no matter the religion we are brought up to believe we are taught to love everyone, and I do. I hate no one. There's really no point in that, it wont get you anywhere.

Our Creator has always been, and always made us aware of
His presence. God doesn't change, but people do. Thus, the
many faiths that have developed over time.
But they all teach the same thing. That no matter who you
are. Male or female. Black, white, red, yellow, or brown. You
have a spirit within. A beautiful being of LIGHT and LOVE.
And we are ALL God/Allah/The Great Spirits children.

My take on this is, it's kinda like pizza. Some folks like mushrooms, some folks like extra cheese, some folks don't even like pizza. But, overall, it doesn't matter - you've got your own personal preference, and it's not worth getting worked up over. There's no reason to go out and bash someone else because they don't share the same views.

A shame that we can hold that view about pizza, but not about religion, or politics, or anything else in this life. People seem to have difficulty drawing a line between taking a subject seriously, and taking it too seriously. You can treat a subject with respect, and consider it of utmost importance... but still not feel a need to inflict it upon others. If more people would simply embrace that approach, I think we'd be a whole lot happier. Instead of having cultural groups ready to throw down at a moment's notice, you'd be able to get some sort of peaceable coexistance.

Do you mean 'Islamists' and 'persecuted'? Islamists are not the same as Muslims. In fact sharia laws laws against outsiders are rigid.

Everybody has prejudices and biases to help validate themselves. Some people are biased against people who don't use spell check. There are all kinds of facets of religions that allow people to justify their biases. Christians used examples of slavery quoted in the Bible to justify having slaves. (Catholics and Protestants are both Christians). Over and over again the suffering of a group at the hands of another becomes their justification for turning the tables but good. Most people are brought up with the idea that they should love selectively. Danny Pearl's Dad said that past suffering should not be the premise of any argument. (paraphrase). I would like to add a given. You're entitled to protect yourself, but be on guard against stepping on others in the process. Good luck, keep up the attitide of loving everyone.

No, we must love the person and hate the behaviour. I am a born again Christian, and the Lord commands me to LOVE others, because He first loved ME.

He created all people. Not all are right in their thinking and beliefs, but still we must love them and not hurt or hate them.

i totally agree! i mean, most people are pretty racist about stuff like that! there is nothing different about people for when you look really closely at everybody religion, you can mostly see that tyhey contain almost the same info; that theres one god and that who they believe in. muhamed, alah, God..... research them a bit more. ... aren't they similar? MAYBE god did show himself to everybody but when they went back to their hometowns they just told them in different ways. don't you notice that different religions all come from different places too? muslims usually come from one place while christians from another.....

I agree completely. We have to learn to get along on some common ground. If not religion then at least on a human level.

The right way to go about this is you cannot ..and I repeat...you CANNOT and SHOULD NOT prosecute anyone based on their faith or belief.

Its their actions that need to be prosecuted. Its the hurtful people who need to be taught to be civil.

because faith is between you and your creator, its none of my concern, and shouldnt be.

societies concern should be to improve on the habits of people who do bad to others and eradicate those individuals who do not stop doing bad to others.

thats all that we really need...

logical people everywhere have done the same.

There is no point to hatred. Nothing positive can come from it. Everyone must walk their own path.
