i do cos i am a witch or so my husband keeps telling me. Actually my great grandmother seven times removed was the last witch to be burnt in Dundee. Grissel Jafrfey. She wasnt really a witch tho, just a tea leaf reader and healer, she gathered herbs and plants etc and made potions to help common illnesses. She also had epilepsy and in these days to take a fit was the work of the devil so the poor witch was the local towns bar b que feast! Strange but true.

There are real life witches, they just don't look like the ones in storybooks. How do I know, I used to be friends with one.

I am one. I even have a broom and a cauldron, though I don't ride my broomstick and I don't sit around cackling while stiring up strange brews in my cauldron. I am pure Wiccan and the meanings of the two tools mentioned above are symbolic and sacred to the Goddess.

I met a man who was a witch. I appreciate his gifts and beliefs but I did not appreciate the fact that he read me without my permission. I felt like he was invading my privacy.

If you mean Wiccans then I do Best friend is one.
But if you mean people casting bad spells with things like 'eye of newt' or riding around on broomsticks then I don't!

yes there are witches but not the sort that go flying around on broomsticks or turn you into a frog.
