I am learning about direct and indirect pronouns in Italian...My text states - Imagine Dario is the object of the following verbs. Decide whether a direct object pronoun lo or an indirect object pronoun gli would be appropriate. Use the io form of the verb: Examples provided are aiutare - io lo aiuto and dare una mano - io gli do una mano.

I have many to complete but two of them are:
1) vedere in piazza ...............................................
2) spiegare le regole ...........................................

Can anyone clearly explain indirect and direct object pronouns to me PLEASE??? I would really appreciate someone's help!

I work with alot of Philipino women. They will work almost every day, 12 hour days, 6 or 7 days a week, signing up for overtime like crazy. Most of them have little kids, usually who the grandma is raising because they work so much. Why is working the priority in their culture.

I'm having a party on Halloween with my friends, and we need some ideas to make this year really special.

What food is easy to make?

Costume ideas?

And what scary but non-gory movies could we hire?

Thanks!!

How come a pacifist religion like Budhism can have a subset of followers who are happy to fight and kill?

Is there some clause to the religion that says violence is acceptable under certain circumstances?

I absolutely LOVE everything (e.g. the idea, the camaraderie, the family time, the food, the time of the year, the promise of a New Year, .....) about the Thanksgiving holiday, so let me be the absolute first one this year (precipitated as it maybe) to say to all of you: HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT THANKSGIVING.

There are some regular visitors who look obsessed with insulting some categories of people, mainly based on religion. Someone is targeting the Christians, someone else the Muslims. Personally I imagine them as little ugly men who failed to achieve anything in life, be it at school, in the work, in personal relationships, no wife, no girlfriend, and seek revenge by insulting others while hidden behind a nickname and a computer screen. Sad, isn't it? Anyway, better like that than becoming serial killers! Thanks to Yahoo for giving them this opportunity.
PS maybe I should have posted my question in the Psychology section

I will admit that some of the questions people ask on here have been ridiculous but most are seeking serious advice and some responses I have read to their questions warrant apologies for your insensibility. So for all of you that have been total and complete jack@sses, I apologgize on your behalf
