u mean the pentagram,hearagram?

Some heavy metal rock bands occasionally use a pentacle or pentagram as a band symbol. It is often neither an upright nor an inverted symbol. Often, it is aligned to have a top point which is slightly off vertical. Most of these groups simply use the symbolism and stage theatrics to generate notoriety, popularity and record sales. However, a few bands -- particularly in the Black Metal scene -- have been founded by Satanists. Some are: "Morbid Angel" in the U.S., "Emperor" in Norway, "Dark Funeral" in Sweden, and "Rotting Christ" in Greece.

An inverted pentagram is used in witchcraft and occult rituals to conjure up evil spirits. Satanists use it 2 points up and pagans use it one point up. Any way it is used symbolizes evil. It matters not if two points are up or one. It matters not if it has a circle around it. It still is a symbol of Satan.

The star of Baphomet is unique to Satanism. A demonic deity and symbolic of Satan. Can be seen as jewelry
It is also now being used by the masons. It can be seen on their buildings and the emblems the put on their vehicles to identify each other.

Another symbol of Baphomet - Aleister Crowley wore this symbol as well as the 33rd degree founder Albert Pike of the Masons.

Pentagram: symbol used in Witchcraft. Represents the elements, earth, wind, fire and water with the spirit surrounding them.

Hexagram: It is one of the most potent symbols used in the working of the powers of darkness. Used to work magic.

hardrock_godsmack,
My favorite band, RUSH uses the pentagram. Or at least used to.

The Pentacle, this is a five -pointed star, displayed as if drawn only with lines without the circle going around, I believe is where the idea of the pentagram comes from.

But here's the interesting thing. The pentacle was supposed to be the way that Venus would track across the sky. It was observed by the ancients, and they were able to draw that pentacle as a result of observation.
